Tired of movie reviews? Us too. Let’s talk about what happens before the movie. Host, Jacob Beals, takes pride in being “First in Line” for every blockbuster that comes out. He’ll discuss the hype surrounding a big movie, what the expectations from fans of a genre, actor, or director are, then take you on a journey which may include the car ride over, standing in line, the snacks, previews, the seating arrangement, and all the other intangibles that go along with the pre-movie experience. If you’re lucky, Jacob will even tell if you if he liked the movie! “First in Line” is a podcast for people who love the entire movie experience on the Cumulus Media Des Moines Podcast Network.

How Shrek 2 Changed My Life!
2004 was a big year for movies. And many of them are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year! Including Shrek 2, which is one of my favorite animated movies ever! Let's go back in time and talk some of my favorite Shrek 2 memories. Seeing the movie on the big screen, getting the Shrek 2 DVD, Playing Far Far Away Idol, the Shrek 2 tie in food and snacks and of course...Shrek 2 the video game!

This ain’t your typical highfalutin movie podcast!
I have no interest in a typical movie podcast. Alleged experts telling me what’s good and bad and saying “films” instead of “movies”. Gimme a break.
First In Line makes me feel like I’m hanging with a friend before, during, and after the movie discussing EVERYTHING and that’s what makes it an enjoyable podcast every week.
