First Light

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just an Easter event. It is a daily reality that changes how we live, suffer, and interpret the world around us. Like Mary Magdalene at the tomb, pain can make us excellent observers but terrible interpreters, causing us to assume the worst when God may be doing His greatest work. God often moves before our questions are answered, because He is more interested in growing our faith than satisfying our timeline. The folded grave clothes left behind by Jesus point to intentionality and authority. He was not stolen or rescued. He left death on His own terms. Resurrection is not resuscitation. It is transformation, and because of it, we are new creations. The empty tomb is not just good news for Sunday. It is the foundation of everything.
