Four recent law school graduates clerk for the Supreme Court, navigating life and love while confronting the toughest cases of their generation.

As any young lawyer knows, clerking for a Supreme Court Justice could make or break your career before it even begins. Tensions are already high as four very different candidates vie for the highly coveted positions, their reasons for being there informed by their backgrounds— and personal baggage. But as they tackle case after case, each more difficult and emotional than the last, the clerks realize the Court must reckon with an internal threat if justice is to be truly served.

First Street is a Realm production, created by Catherine McKenzie and written by Catherine McKenzie, Jasmine Guillory, Elyssa Friedland, Shawn Klomparens, Randy Susan Meyers, and Kermit Roosevelt III. Listen away.

Introducing Episode 1 of Black Friday, starring Fred Armisen

Introducing Episode 1 of Black Friday, starring Fred Armisen

This week, we would like to introduce you to Black Friday, a new show from Realm, the studio that brought you First Street.

Subscribe to Black Friday wherever you get your podcasts, or visit Realm.fm

A new horror-comedy starring Fred Armisen! Living corpses have taken over Mart Club the night before Black Friday, but if Bob forgets to bring home milk, he’ll be dead meat.

For Bob, working on Thanksgiving is a necessary evil. After getting laid off from his corporate job, he’s lucky to have an income at all. But that’s just the kind of guy he is: always able to see the bright side, especially if it involves building an eye-catching holiday display. Definitely shift supervisor material.

Unfortunately, the dead don’t care if you have a positive outlook. They just want you to be dead, too.

When demons from hell and their zombie minions attack the Mart Club, Bob, his manager Tanya, and their coworkers must find a way to defeat them before the holiday crowd descends. Now if only Bob would stop cracking Dad-jokes and risking their lives to complete his grocery shopping list, maybe they’d have a chance at being heroes.
