Teacher, Trucker, Comedian is a podcast born out of three very different lives — and one comedy class that brought two of them together. Tall T spends his days behind the wheel, logging miles and collecting stories from the road. Lil L is in the classroom, navigating the daily chaos of education with patience, humor, and a whiteboard. Big Al is a working comedian who's made a career out of finding the joke in everything. When these three sit down together, the conversation goes anywhere — current events, culture, the absurdities of everyday life, and the art and craft of stand-up comedy. Tall T and Lil L aren't just fans of comedy — they're both graduates of the Comics stand-up comedy class hosted at LOL in San Antonio, which means when Big Al breaks down what makes something funny, this crew can actually keep up.     Big Al was booted out of his regular Circle K stop (where he usually grabs cheap energy drinks on the way to record) for reasons he's about to explain. Meanwhile, Big Al has been scouting comics at open mics and brings a guest—a comic named Mini Beanie he discovered—who'll join later in the episode.

    Big Al returns from a brutal 22-hour LA road trip where he and a friend drove directly through a tornado storm (while the friend slept through most of it), then got stuck in a two-hour accident. The crew debates whether Quiet Place is a Christmas movie and talks about a new open mic at Rebar.

    Big Al, Little L, and Tati are back for another Sunday session! Tati recaps her first real stand-up performance at Upstage Comedy's Teacher Appreciation Week show — nerves, blacking out, and all. The crew digs into the unwritten rules of comedy: what to wear on stage, how to read a crowd, and why facing the lights is just part of the job. Then things get personal as the gang swaps Mother's Day memories, kids-who-talk-back stories, and honest takes on parenting, family dynamics, and what it means to finally pursue something just for yourself.

    Exit Through the Side Door

    Episode 2 of Teacher, Trucker, Comedian kicks off with a strip club field trip (for comedy inspiration, of course), Lil L's brief career as a club waitress, and Tall T's surprisingly frugal Army days. The crew then gets into new Texas laws — including the statewide cell phone ban in schools — Dave Chappelle's early no-phone policy, the nightmare that is the Alamodome, overpriced concert seats, and San Antonio's underappreciated sports scene. Big Al closes out with his Cinco de Mayo comedy anniversary and Lil L's first 12-minute set. Unfiltered, unscripted, and only getting looser.
