Love love love this podcast. It’s engaging and informative yet easy to digest and fun. A lot of it is centered around oolong—tasting notes with a lot of interesting tea philosophy and journey. Thank you for this wonderful podcast

I’ve been looking for an Oolong centered active tea podcast that is enjoyable to listen to and gets into deep tea culture with hints of philosophy. This is truly a gem of a podcast

Love this podcast. So much fun. So much information. And I learn about teas I might not have understood or ordered without the podcast. Win, win, win.

This is a fun laid back tea podcast recorded in a little tea shop in Seattle. The owner Shiuwen and her guests discuss a particular tea she has sourced in each episode (with a focus on Taiwanese oolongs. The shop’s speciality). The conversations also touch on aspects of East Asian tea culture more generally at times. Overall this is a fantastic tea podcast right up there with Ken Cohen’s Talking Tea and others. More then just a business podcast about the offerings Floating Leaves Tea sells this podcast has something to offer to those curious to learn about more about mindful tea drinking. Each episode serves as a great resource for seasoned and new tea drinkers. Shiuwen’s enthusiasm really conveys what makes the teas of Taiwan so remarkable. The processing of the tea(s), the environment, aspects of the tea makers craft, brewing considerations, thoughts on flavor / texture, and more are discussed in a free flowing format. Whether you simply enjoy a good cuppa or are already a oolong fanatic definitely consider giving this podcast a listen and maybe pick up a delicious Ali Shan, Dong Ding, Shan Lin Xi, Pouchong or another tea discussed here.
