Initially, Mimi's demands increase as she becomes spoiled, refusing to sing and making various excuses. When Tai and the others fail to substitute for Mimi and a plan to record her singing backfires, they end up jailed by an unrepentant Mimi. However, a nightmare about her selfishness leads Mimi to change her attitude after Sora consoles her. Mimi's crest glows, signaling her growth, and she successfully awakens ShogunGekomon with her singing, though he reacts poorly and attacks. He is subdued by MetalGreymon, and Mimi reconciles with the group, ready to continue their adventure.
