    Momo and Aira sulk in despair following the incident as the girls and Okarun discuss what the goals of the aliens were. Okarun then explains to Momo the circumstances of the previous day. Meanwhile, when Aira's classmates conspire to harass Momo amid rumors that Aira had spread about the latter, Aira takes full accountability for her actions and asks them not to slander Momo further. Aira later meets with Momo as they confront the wounded Mantis Shrimp, whom they take to Seiko's house. After eating dinner, the Mantis Shrimp explains his son Chiquitita is at risk of dying due to constantly losing blood. Hearing this, Seiko provides him a glass of milk, which the Mantis Shrimp realizes is an equivalent to his blood. Overjoyed, the Mantis Shrimp is allowed by Seiko to abduct a cow and gives his thanks, promising to help the group if they need him. A few minutes later, a visitor arrives at the house, whom Momo recognizes as Jin "Jiji" Enjoji. When Okarun asks who he is, Seiko reveals that Jiji is Momo's childhood friend and first love, which shocks him.

    Episode 24:Izzy and Tentomon, while searching for Gennai, fall into a trap set by DemiDevimon. They tumble into a dark abyss where Vademon, a Big-brained Digimon, confronts Izzy, challenging his curiosity and demanding he abandon it. Under Vademon's influence, Izzy enters a trance-like state, distancing himself from Tentomon who de-digivolves to Pabumon. Eventually, Pabumon's reminiscing awakens Izzy from his stupor. Together, they confront Vademon in his dimension, where a battle ensues. Pabumon digivolves to MegaKabuterimon, defeats Vademon, and rescues Izzy. The episode ends with them reuniting with Matt, Tsunomon, T.K., and Patamon outside. Episode 25: Tai, Joe, Agumon, and Gomamon travel to a castle on an island using Matt's swan boat and discover Mimi being treated like a princess by Gekomon and Otamamon. The servant Digimon believes that Mimi's singing can awaken their master, ShogunGekomon, who is in a deep sleep due to losing a singing contest. Initially, Mimi's demands increase as she becomes spoiled, refusing to sing and making various excuses. When Tai and the others fail to substitute for Mimi and a plan to record her singing backfires, they end up jailed by an unrepentant Mimi. However, a nightmare about her selfishness leads Mimi to change her attitude after Sora consoles her. Mimi's crest glows, signaling her growth, and she successfully awakens ShogunGekomon with her singing, though he reacts poorly and attacks. He is subdued by MetalGreymon, and Mimi reconciles with the group, ready to continue their adventure.

    Growing increasingly paranoid, Keiichi calls in sick for school to avoid his friends and delve deeper into the case. Oishi tells Keiichi that all victims of Oyashiro's curse are connected to his group of friends. That night, Keiichi discovers a sewing needle inside the box of ohagi, which Rena and Mion gave him a few minutes earlier when they turned up to his house. Fearing for himself when he nearly gets hit by a white van during morning walk to school, Keiichi finds a baseball bat from the locker, owned by Satoshi. Mion and Rena notices him using the bat and acts suspicious. After school, Rena tells him that the bat which is confirmed by his name written on the bat knob much to Keiichi's surprise. She reveals that like Keiichi, Satoshi had displayed similar paranoid behaviors, Keiichi asks Rena about Satoshi's whereabouts, she insists that he already 'transferred' and warns Keiichi he will not do the same. At home, Keiichi gets a phone call from Oishi and discuss what he found until someone arrived outside the front door and press the door button.

    The Secret (Chapter: Spirited Away by the Demon, Part 2)

    During the annual festival, Keiichi is informed by Tomitake and a long-blond hair woman name Miyo Takano, about "Oyashiro's curse". A series of murders and disappearances has occurred on the night of the festival for the past four years and are all supposedly caused by the curse of the village's tutelary deity, Oyashiro. The next day, Keiichi meets Oishi Kurado, and learns that Tomitake committed suicide by clawing his throat out and Takano disappeared. He becomes Oishi's informant. Keiichi notices changes in Rena and Mion's behavior, and suspects them of hiding something from him. He is also accused of keeping secrets by Rena because of his ties to Oishi. Keiichi delves deeper into the history of the curse, and Satoko Hojo's older brother, Satoshi, has been apparently transferred out of school in the village. At that point, Keiichi has a grim feeling, and realizes that Rena has been eavesdropping on him talking to Oishi on the phone outside his room the whole time.
