There are too many not funny jokes and constant giggling. Also, holes in the research. It is surprising that hosts of an intellectual seeming topic seem to be so proudly ignorant about so much. I’m confused by this show.

I am only in the early episodes so far while I enjoy the banter and dark humor (the running hypotheses that both Martha Washington and Martha Jefferson murdered their first husbands) - I’m already noticing big historical errors. In the episode about Thomas Jefferson’s wife and daughter, the hosts say that Jefferson wrote the US Constitution. Jefferson had nothing to do with the Constitution. The US Constitution is largely attributed to James Madison; Jefferson was still in France at the time of its creation and signing. There was also an implication in the Martha Washington episode that George had presidential aspirations, he did not. (See Mount Vernon website). Maybe things get more accurate in the later episodes?
