Healing for The Future| Focus on Greatness Podcast | #201

Healing isn’t just about your past—it’s about your future. In this teaching, we dive into the message **“Healing for the Future”** from **Jeremiah 6:16 (NIV)**, where God’s people are still doing religious routines, but their hearts are disconnected, wounded, tired, and stuck at a spiritual crossroads. God is saying: *“Stand at the crossroads and look… ask for the ancient paths… walk in it… and you will find rest for your souls.”* We explore how: - You can be busy in church and still broken inside - God already has **plans, doors, and assignments** prepared for you (Jeremiah 29:11), but your current level of brokenness is **not safe** for where He’s trying to take you - Every believer comes to a moment where Jesus asks, **“Do you want to be healed?”** (John 5:6) Then we look at **three biblical examples** of people God had to heal so they could carry their future: - **David** – from moral failure and shame to a restored heart and lasting legacy - **Saul → Paul** – from violent religion to a grace-filled apostle who built the early church - **Moses** – from anger, fear, and confusion to a meek leader trusted to carry a nation By the end of this message, you’ll see that: - Healing is not optional if you want to fully step into what God has ordained - God isn’t just comforting your past; He’s **preparing you for your future** - You are standing at a crossroads: **Will you choose healing, or will you stay where you’ve always been?** 🔥 If you’re tired of functioning from pain and ready to be healed for your future, this teaching is for you. 📖 **Key Scriptures Mentioned:** - Jeremiah 6:16 - Jeremiah 29:11–13 - John 5:1–9 - 2 Samuel 11–12, Psalm 51 (David) - Acts 9 (Saul/Paul) - Exodus 2–3 (Moses) 🎧 Listen on All Platforms You can also listen to this episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major podcast platforms. 🤝 Join the Greatness Tribe (Skool Community) If you’re ready to grow alongside other men committed to faith, discipline, and purpose, join the Greatness Tribe. 👉 Click here to join: https://www.skool.com/greatness-tribe-8881/about?ref=acbacb7df53146148b72f287bce35cae 👇 Join the Conversation Drop a comment below with what stood out to you and how this episode challenged you.

Tired and Heavy? This is God's Answer| Focus on Greatness Podcast| #200

In this powerful episode, we dive into the divine order God is calling us back to—worship before work. So many of us are overwhelmed, exhausted, and carrying burdens we were never meant to hold on our own. We strive, we grind, we push through… but still feel empty. Why? Because we’ve reversed the order. Jesus gives us a clear invitation in Scripture: “Come unto me, all you that are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” This is not just a suggestion—it’s a strategy for life. Worship is not just singing songs—it’s surrender. It’s positioning your heart before God. It’s where strength is renewed, clarity is restored, and burdens are lifted. When worship becomes our focus, it empowers us to handle the work with peace, wisdom, and grace. In this episode, we break down: • Why worship must come before the work   • How misplaced priorities lead to burnout   • The power of rest in God’s presence   • Practical ways to make worship a daily lifestyle   God is realigning His people. He’s calling us back to the place where everything begins—with Him. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, tired, or disconnected, this message is for you. It’s time to return to the source. Worship first… and let God handle the weight of the work. 🎧 Listen on All Platforms You can also listen to this episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major podcast platforms. #FocusOnGreatness #FaithOverFear #WorshipFirst #ChristianMen #SpiritualGrowth #KingdomMindset #RestInGod #PurposeDriven #FaithWalk #DailyDevotion

How a Man Begins the Healing Process | Focus on Greatness Podcast

Many men are taught to suppress pain instead of healing from it. Over time that silence begins to affect how we lead, communicate, and show up in our relationships. What started as protection eventually becomes a barrier to the greatness inside of us. In this episode of the Focus on Greatness Podcast, we talk about how a man actually begins the healing process. Healing is not about blaming others or pretending the pain never happened. It’s about becoming honest about what hurt you, understanding what you are responsible for, and allowing God to restore the areas of your life that were wounded. When a man begins to heal, something powerful happens: his voice returns, his clarity grows, and his leadership becomes stronger. This conversation will help you take the first real steps toward emotional and spiritual healing. In This Episode We Discuss: • Why many men struggle to acknowledge their wounds • The difference between responsibility and blame • How unresolved pain affects leadership and relationships • Why healthy boundaries are essential for healing • How healing restores a man’s voice and greatness God reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha, the One who restores what has been broken. Healing is not just emotional—it’s spiritual, relational, and transformational. If you’ve ever felt like your voice has been buried under past experiences, this episode will help you understand how healing begins. The Threat Detector: How Healing Restores a Man’s Greatness

We’ve been talking about silence. Where it started. What it cost us. And how God reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha — The Lord Who Heals. But here’s the question most men are still wrestling with: If God is healing me… why do I still react? Why do I still shut down? Why does my chest tighten in conflict? Why does silence return when pressure hits? In this episode, we go deeper. You’ll discover: • Why silence started as survival • What’s happening in your nervous system when you’re triggered • How trauma wires your “Threat Detector” • Why healing is both spiritual and physiological • And how regulation restores your authority and greatness This isn’t about becoming softer. It’s about becoming stable. Because triggered men shrink. Regulated men lead. If your greatness has been buried under reaction, fear, or silence — this conversation will help you understand why… and show you how healing actually restores your voice. Jehovah Rapha doesn’t just heal your heart. He restores your function. And healed men speak. 🔔 Subscribe for Weekly Episodes Subscribe to Focus on Greatness for weekly conversations on faith, mindset, discipline, leadership, and purpose. 🎧 Listen on All Platforms You can also listen to this episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major podcast platforms.

The Healing of a Man’s Silence | Focus on Greatness Podcast| Hiram Roche #197

What if the reason you’ve been quiet… isn’t pweakness — but a wound? In this episode, we continue our conversation on greatness and silence by exploring a powerful moment in Exodus 15:22–27, where God reveals Himself as Jehovah Rafa — The Lord Who Heals. Most people interpret this name as physical healing. But in this context, Israel wasn’t physically sick — they were emotionally triggered. They had just crossed the Red Sea. They had just witnessed a miracle. But three days later, they’re complaining because the water is bitter. Why? Because miracles don’t automatically heal mindsets. Power doesn’t automatically fix internal wounds. In this episode, we unpack: • How bitterness forms in men • Why unhealed emotions lead to silence • How silence slowly affects our greatness • The difference between physical healing and soul healing • Why Jehovah Rafa wants to heal your mindset, not just your body Last episode we talked about letting the boy in us cry — identifying where the shutdown started. This episode answers the next question: Once you identify the wound… where do you take it? The answer: You bring it to the Healer. If you’ve ever: • Felt emotionally guarded • Struggled to open up • Been successful but internally bitter • Known something shifted in you years ago This conversation is for you. Greatness doesn’t begin with grinding harder. It begins when a healed man finds his voice again.

  6. Let the Child Speak: Hiram Roche #196

Let the Child Speak: Hiram Roche #196

There are moments in childhood that quietly teach us to be silent—and those moments often keep shaping our voice, our confidence, and our decisions as adults. In this episode of Focus on Greatness, “Let the Child Speak,” we go deep into how those early experiences still influence the way we show up today, especially as men called to walk in God-given greatness. Instead of staying on the surface, we trace where the silence started, expose the lies we believed, and walk through a simple but powerful process: **trace it, erase it, replace it**. You’ll discover how a **silenced seed** in childhood created a **silent script** in your mind—and how choosing a **spoken shift** can open the door to healing, boldness, and purpose. 🔹 What we cover in this episode: - How childhood moments of being shut down still affect your voice today   - Why you freeze, avoid conflict, or overthink what you want to say   - A practical, faith-filled framework: *Trace → Erase → Replace*   - Biblical truth that proves your voice was always meant to matter   - Declarations you can start speaking now to rewrite your inner script   🔹 Key Scriptures: - Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life are in the power of the tongue   - Romans 12:2 – Be transformed by the renewing of your mind   - 2 Corinthians 5:17 – You are a new creation in Christ   - Joel 3:10 – Let the weak say, “I am strong”   🔹 Try this exercise from the episode: 1. Write down one childhood memory where your voice was shut down.   2. Identify the lie you believed in that moment (“I don’t matter,” “I should stay quiet”).   3. Find a verse that contradicts that lie.   4. Create a new declaration and speak it out loud daily this week.   If you’ve ever felt like your voice doesn’t matter, or like the real you stays quiet in the moments that matter most, this conversation is for you. This isn’t about blaming the past—it’s about healing it so you can fully step into your greatness. You’re Not Stuck — You’re Silent | Hiram Roche' # 195

You’re Not Stuck — You’re Silent | How Not Speaking Up Affects Your Greatness Many of us say we feel stuck… But what if the real issue isn’t a lack of opportunity— What if it’s silence? In this episode of Focus on Greatness, we unpack how not speaking up can quietly limit your growth, your confidence, and your impact. Fear, doubt, and past experiences can convince us to stay quiet—but silence comes at a cost. This conversation challenges you to examine: • Where the belief came from that your voice doesn’t matter • How silence strengthens fear and self-doubt over time • Why your voice is directly connected to the greatness God placed inside you • Practical ways to begin speaking up, even when it feels uncomfortable Greatness isn’t just about what you’re capable of—it’s about what you’re willing to step into. And for many of us, that step starts with using your voice. 🎯 Action Step: Write down one area of your life where you’ve stayed silent. Ask yourself why. Then commit to taking one small step toward speaking up this week.
