    How to choose your archery stabilizer length

    Have you ever seen all of the length options when it comes to stabilizers and thought to yourself, "Maybe I should just shoot barebow"? Maybe not, but it doesn't make it any easier to choose a rod with 6 different lengths.  When you start browsing for a set of stabilizers, it's easy to get overwhelmed when you can pick between 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 inch rods. How much difference is there with each inch? The condensed answer is that rods that are too long will feel sluggish and unresponsive, and rods that are too short will feel twitchy and unstable.
