Forgotten Threads tells stories from home sewing and fashion history that have been lost in the folds of decades and centuries. The first series, Fashions on the Front, focuses on the experiences of Australian women on the home front during World War II. This is about more than rationing; how women adapted, worked, married, supported the war, and shared their love of fashion.
