Troy and Ruth are such gentle and encouraging hosts. They give insight in a loving way that is so practical to apply. So thankful for this podcast and getting some really tangible nuggets to help me parent my kids and apply the Gospel to my family in a real way.

I’m a mom of three boys and an elementary school educator. I highly recommend this podcast to fellow parents, especially those who are followers of Jesus Christ, although many of these virtues will apply to even a more secular family. I have listened to many podcasts on parenting and education, and have read numerous parenting and education books. The Foundations Podcast is among the very best resources that I’ve encountered! I walked away from every episode with new encouragement as a mother and a teacher. Listening to this podcast in the early mornings gave me a much-needed refresh every day during a season of burn out and exhaustion as an educator. I am endlessly grateful for this podcast by Ruth and Troy Simons. What a blessing!
