I really enjoyed this podcast but it is disappointing that after months of Palestinians fleeing “safe zones”, 2,000 lb bombs exploding children’s organs inside their little bodies, hospitals and refugee camps directly targeted, captives being forced to walk tunnels because it is work too dangerous for IDF military dogs to call what is happening in Gaza a war and not a genocide, ethnic cleansing, or at least occupation is disappointing. To call Oct 7 a pogrom is also upsetting - the dominant cultures of Europe marginalizing Jewish people and forcing apartheid on Jewish and Roma people cannot be a justification for enforcing apartheid in Palestine. International law declares Israel the Occupier, declares the Occupier does not have a right to defend themself rather has an obligation to uphold the dignity of the Peoples they Occupy. International law declares Peoples living under occupation do have the right to violent resistance. The US and Britain and Europe has terrorized the Middle East literal centuries, Palestinians are human whether they are Muslim Jewish or Israeli but are not granted equal rights in Israel.
