    David transitioned from a career in sales after being inspired by a series of events that showed him the power of the mind.     Noor challenges her clients by asking “How can you look your children in their eyes and tell them to go for their dreams if you don’t go for yours?” But the truth is she went on her own journey to get to the place where she is now: running her dream business AND being a stay-at-home mom. As a young adult, Noor fell into the trap many of us have experienced—people squashed her dreams of (in her case of becoming an actress) by telling her it wasn’t possible—and she listened. But she knew she couldn’t join the corporate rat race—and so she went into the resort business as a holiday rep, which allowed her to travel the world. After 6 years of adventuring her biggest dream came true—she became a mum! She moved back to the UK and ended up in a job she hated. During maternity leave she tried to start several businesses and failed. She also found life coaching and felt like she finally found what she had been looking for! But she put it off because she didn’t feel worthy. She had to go back to the job she hated, but she was determined to be with her daughter. So, on her second maternity leave for baby #2 she quit her job and went all-in, creating a thriving Amazon product business!     Being an Entrepreneur Couple and Creating Semi-passive Income

    Jason and Tamera Dion are a husband and wife team who have reached over 100,000 students in 189 countries through their online courses and books. Jason’s experience is in the cybersecurity field and as an instructor at the University of Maryland, while Tamera was a stay-at-home mother who homeschooled their two children. At the end of 2016, Jason discovered online courses and decided to create his own courses and give it a try. Within a year the business had exploded and Tamera decided to come alongside him and take over the production side of the business. Since partnering together, each contributing their strengths and helping each other overcome their weaknesses, their small training company has experienced tremendous growth. The semi-passive income from their new venture has opened up a new world of possibilities for them, including their plans to take advantage of their financial freedom and location independence to travel the world in a couple years when their children will graduate high school and Jason will fully retire.     In this episode, Joeel and Natalie interview entrepreneur Mike Gandia. While earning a degree in robotics and aerospace engineering, Mike was simultaneously plotting his escape from the high paying career he hadn’t even started yet. Being a finalist in the NASA NewSpace Business Plan competition foreshadowed his entrepreneurial leap to come. After a couple years working for Boeing, Mike turned his AirBNB side hustle into a fully automated business that replaced his income and he escaped the rat race at only 25. Today, Mike runs King Street Stays, a short-term rental and professional tenant company with properties throughout South Carolina and Florida, as well as teaches people how to create their own AirBNB empire through his online training program. And, now he is using the freedom he created to follow his passion, which is marketing, through his digital marketing agency CMF, where he can apply his engineering mind to marketing analytics, customer purchase behavior and sales psychology. Mike’s willingness to take risks and do whatever it takes to live life on his terms, combined with his passion, authenticity, and heart, make him a powerful example to aspiring entrepreneurs, both young and old alike.

Paulo is a self-proclaimed programming geek who fell in love with coding when he got to college, even through he grew up in a small village in Mozambique, Africa where he didn’t have access to computers. Paulo’s opportunity to attend high school for one year in the United States instilled a dream within him to move to America. Through a series of almost miraculous events, Paulo immigrated to the United States to attend college, where he discovered his love of coding and received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and got a job building Android and iOS apps. The ability to thrive through uncertainty that Paulo developed living in Mozambique and overcoming the challenges of moving to a new country, prepared him to be a natural entrepreneur.
