    Lunar Eclipse in Pisces: When You Can’t Pretend It Still Works

    What if exhaustion isn't telling you to rest, but telling you the agreement itself isn't working anymore? The partial Lunar Eclipse at 4° Pisces closes out eclipse season with the Moon conjunct Fomalhaut, square Uranus in Gemini, & opposing Mercury in Virgo just hours after a Mercury cazimi. The Sun moves through Human Design Gate 40, the Gate of Aloneness, whose Gene Key travels from Exhaustion to Resolve to Divine Will, while the Moon moves through Gate 22, the Gate of Openness, moving from Dishonor to Graciousness to Grace. Together they raise some uncomfortable questions about where we're continuing to give, participate, or remain available simply because that's the role we've always played. Fomalhaut adds another layer around the original vision versus the structure we've built around it, while Uranus may introduce the information that makes an old explanation harder to keep believing.     Eclipse Season: The Stories We Tell Ourselves in the Fog

    What happens when the noise in your head gets so loud you can't tell what's actually happening anymore? We're in the strange middle of eclipse season, after the Leo Solar Eclipse but before the Pisces Lunar Eclipse, right in the soft, vulnerable part of the molt I've been talking about all month. Mars is now in Cancer and squaring Neptune, adding some fog to a week when we may already be trying to figure out what something means or where it's going. The Sun moves through Human Design Gate 29, the Gate of Perseverance, whose Gene Key travels from Half-Heartedness to Commitment to Devotion, raising questions about what we're actually giving our energy to, including the stories we create when we don't have all the information. As someone with an open Head and Ajna and Gate 29 as my Pearl, I know how quickly an unanswered question can become an entire investigation.     Solar Eclipse in Leo: The Harvest & the Severing

    What if the brave thing isn't standing your ground anymore? The Solar Eclipse in Leo arrives August 12th at 20 degrees, landing in a double Mars-ruled decan associated with the Seven of Wands, the card of holding your position, defending what you've built, & refusing to back down. But with the South Node in Leo, this eclipse flips the question: are you still fighting because something matters, or because you've spent so long fighting for it that you don't know who you'd be if you stopped? The Sun moves through Human Design Gate 4, the Gate of Formalization, whose Gene Key travels from Intolerance to Understanding to Forgiveness, bringing us to that strange moment when you've finally seen enough of a pattern that you can't unsee it.     August's Cosmic Energy Mix: Welcome to Molting Season

    Eclipse season is here, & I think using a different metaphor this time.  Everyone talks about shedding, but I've been thinking about molting. A crab doesn't molt because something is wrong with its shell. It molts because it's grown beyond what once protected it, and before the new shell hardens, it's at its most vulnerable. August carries that same feeling as we move between a Leo Solar Eclipse and a Pisces Lunar Eclipse, with Chiron stationing retrograde, Mars moving into Cancer, Mercury into Leo, and Jupiter finally finding support through a trine to Saturn at month's end. The Human Design transits trace that journey beautifully, moving from Gate 33's invitation to step back and reflect, through guidance, uncertainty, commitment, intimacy, and finally Gate 40's reminder that rest is part of the process, not a detour from it.     New Moon in Cancer: What Fills Your Cup?

    The Cancer New Moon perfects at 22 degrees, but what if it's not actually asking what you want to manifest? Cancer gets reduced to home, comfort, and safety, but underneath all of that sits a much simpler question: what actually sustains you. This week's Human Design transit through Gate 62—the Gate of Details, whose Gene Key moves from Intellect to Precision to Impeccability—asks us to stop collecting more information and start trusting the evidence our own lives have already handed us. This decan is also ruled by the Moon itself, which doubles the emotional intensity of the whole lunation, and its tarot card, the Four of Cups, gets a reinterpretation here—less about apathy, more about being too full to recognize what's actually being offered.     July's Cosmic Energy Mix: Expect the Unexpected

    July arrives with one clear message: expect the unexpected. We’re coming off a Capricorn Full Moon, Mercury has just stationed retrograde, and Jupiter has entered Leo, but instead of easing us into the month, the astrology accelerates almost immediately. Mars collides with Uranus, Jupiter runs into both Chiron and Pluto, Neptune and Saturn both station retrograde, and by the end of the month a Full Moon in Aquarius asks us to step back and look at the bigger picture.
