Even though that iconic mask doesn't show up until part 3, there's no denying the cultural impact of Jason Voorhees himself. Hell, it's not just Millennials.  Indeed, Jason is a multi-generational killer. 

Why not start with the original? It's from 1980. Not millennial. 1981? That's more like it!
