Redlands is one of our favorite areas to visit. Especially on a sunny crisp SoCal day. One of those charming downtown areas that take you back to the early days of California. The town is full of charming historic Victorian Houses, Brick and Mortar buildings and is known to be full of HAUNTINGS.

This episode we're talking all things REDLANDS and what we did in one afternoon.

2 oz Empress 1908 gin
4-6 oz FRESH Orange Juice (we stock up at the Etiwanda Historical Society during their orange sale)
1 oz Grenadine ( HOMEMADE preferred reduce equal parts pomegranate juice and sugar)

Depending on your cocktail glass use less or more orange juice. Over ice pour gin, orange juice and grenadine to create a layer effect. Garnish with an orange slice or maraschino cherry. Stir before drinking if desired.

We decided on this cocktail for an interview we did with I.E. Alive but put a San Bernardino twist on it. The purple gin is in ode to our hometown Rancho Cucamonga's grape logo and the orange juice from fresh oranges because the I. E. was once known as the ORANGE EMPIRE.

1 ½ ounces orange juice1 ½ ounces pineapple juice½ ounce lime juice½ ounce orgeat (or ¼ teaspoon almond extract mixed in an additional ½ ounce simple syrup)½ ounce spiced simple syrup (store bought or homemade syrup)Orange slice and/or fresh mint for garnish(optional)Add the orange, pineapple, and lime juices to a cocktail glass filled with ice. Have you heard of Iceland's YULE CAT? Krampus isn't the only better behave or else monster in the world.

We really had a good time embracing this new monster and all the lore that surrounds this INSANE idea of a kitty cat.

For this December episode, we decided to tell you about a non-alcoholic Christmas Punch  by The Mindful Mocktail that Tamantha offers with a FUN twist for your Holiday Guest.

Non Alcoholic Christmas Punch
2 cups Cranberry Juice (low sugar is suggested by TMM)
1 cup Orange Juice
1 cup Pineapple Juice
2 cups Sparkling apple juice or cider
1 cup Ginger ale *See T's FUN TWIST

1. Mix cranberry, orange and pineapple juice in a punch bowl, large jug or drink decanter. *add FRESH FRUIT for a decorative touch , it also can be frozen in ice cubes or a jello mold ahead of time.

2. Add non- sparkling apple juice or cider.

3. When you're ready to serve, add ice and fruit of your choice to garnish.

4. The FUN TWIST hold off on the Ginger ale and make a bar selection of sparkly TOPPERS. Put out your fave Ginger ale, Ginger Beer, Sparkling Water/Soda, Prosecco or Cava or champagne.
