He Heard the Episode... Now “Traditional Man” Wants to Respond | Part 1

What happens when the man you talked about on your podcast actually listens... and wants to respond? Back in Season 8, Episode 11, Andrea shared the story of a date with a self proclaimed “Traditional Man.” She walked away from the date feeling questioned, tested and, at times, objectified. He walked away with a very different interpretation of what happened. If you haven’t heard the original episode, go back and listen to S8 E11 first for the full story. And yes, he heard the episode. This week, Amy Watts is back as Andrea revisits the date and the claims he says she got wrong. But instead of trying to guess what he meant, they decide to ask him directly. Traditional Man joins the conversation to explain his side, including what being a traditional man means to him, why he says he was “testing” Andrea, why he searched through her Instagram before their date, and whether a woman showing her body publicly creates any expectation about what she should give a man privately. Then the conversation gets even more interesting when Andrea asks one very simple question: “Did you earn my low cut dress?” His answer opens up an entirely different conversation about dating, vulnerability, effort, entitlement and what men and women believe they owe each other when dating. This is only Part 1. Let’s Marry Harry Ep. 3: He Wants a Wife… So He Kissed 11 Women?!

Harry Jowsey says he’s ready to leave his old dating life behind, settle down and find a wife. So naturally, in Episode 3 of Let’s Marry Harry, he kisses 11 women in one night. Yes. Eleven. This week, I’m breaking down the moment “Scary Harry” starts creeping back in and asking the question that matters more than how many women he kissed: Can Harry actually change his relationship patterns when temptation is sitting right in front of him? We’re talking about Harry’s growing connection with Dannelle, why Juliana may be activating a very different side of him, the women beginning to compete for Harry instead of evaluating whether he’s actually right for them, and why chemistry and compatibility are definitely not the same thing. And then there’s Harry’s realization that maybe kissing his way through the house isn’t exactly helping him find a wife. Self awareness is a start. But self awareness without behavioral change is just really accurate narration. Plus, I reveal my updated frontrunners, give you my Girl, Run Moment of the Week, and Harry’s Husband Material Score takes another hit. The bigger question after Episode 3 is no longer whether Harry can find a woman he likes. Can Harry actually choose one and give up all the other possibilities? Let’s Marry Harry Episode 2 Recap: Is Harry Falling Back Into His Old Ways?

Harry Jowsey says he’s ready for a wife, but Episode 2 of Let’s Marry Harry has me wondering whether he’s actually choosing differently or already falling back into the same dating patterns. This week, the kissing officially begins, and so do the questions. I’m breaking down Harry’s growing connection with Dannelle, why Amber has him so intrigued, the Faith “braggadocious” controversy, and whether Harry was justified in sending Faith home simply because she talked about their kiss. We also need to talk about that VERY suggestive scene between Harry and Dannelle and what they’ve since said actually happened. But the bigger conversation this week is chemistry vs. compatibility. Harry clearly knows how to create physical chemistry, but can he recognize the kind of woman he could actually build a healthy marriage with? Plus, I’m revealing my current frontrunners, my Girl, Run Moment of the Week, the one thing I actually agree with Harry about, and Harry’s updated Husband Material Score. Let’s Marry Harry Episode 1 Recap: Is Harry Jowsey Actually Husband Material?

Let’s Marry Harry Ep. 1: Can a F*ckboy Really Become Husband Material? Harry Jowsey says he’s done with his old ways and ready for a wife. But can a man with a very public history of love bombing, toxic relationships and questionable dating decisions really decide he’s suddenly husband material? I’m officially recapping Netflix’s Let’s Marry Harry, and Episode 1 gave me A LOT to talk about. We’re breaking down Harry’s decision to get married, the 20 women who willingly signed up to become his potential wife, the very interesting decision to bring his ex into the process, and the question I’ll be asking all season: Does Harry actually want to BE a husband… or does he just want to HAVE a wife? I’m also watching the women closely. Who’s actually evaluating Harry? Who’s already falling for his potential? Who thinks she can change him? And who might be here for something other than marriage? Plus, I’m giving Harry his first official Husband Material Score. This isn’t just a reality TV recap. Dating Dilemmas After 50 | Is He Pulling Away… or Are You Overthinking It?

Dating after 50 comes with a whole new set of questions and sometimes it’s nearly impossible to tell the difference between trusting your gut and letting your anxiety take over. This week, I’m joined by relationship coach and Love at Any Age host (plus Menopause Love Lounge Host) Laurie Gerber to tackle three VERY real midlife dating dilemmas. What happens when the good morning texts suddenly stop and he says he’s just “busy”? What if his ex-wife is still calling and texting him years after their divorce? And what do you do when you’ve been exclusive for months, act like a couple, but he still refuses to put a label on the relationship? Laurie brings the 30 years married and relationship-coach perspective. I bring the perspective of someone who has actually been out here dating after divorce. And while we definitely agree on some things, we don’t see everything the same way. We’re talking breadcrumbing, communication, sex and attachment, staying friends with an ex, relationship labels, commitment after divorce, and one of the hardest questions of all: When are you being patient… and when are you settling? If you’ve ever stared at your phone wondering what the hell his behavior actually means, this episode is for you. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Is he busy… or is he pulling away? 02:43 Dilemma #1: He’s still texting, but something feels off 04:40 Did intimacy change the relationship? 06:30 When does “busy” become an excuse? 08:54 Are you giving him space or playing games? 09:54 The conversations you should have by date three 11:10 The problem with good morning texts 13:18 Andrea’s controversial take: Are good morning texts breadcrumbing? 14:52 Stop guessing and start asking what he wants 16:39 Dilemma #2: His ex-wife is ALWAYS around 18:54 When being friends with an ex is actually okay 20:18 Should you meet his ex? 20:33 Andrea’s relationship with her ex-husband 22:18 When an ex starts marking her territory 23:15 Friendship or emotional dependency? 23:42 How to talk about jealousy without sounding controlling 25:47 Dilemma #3: He wants forever… but not the label 27:44 Why relationship labels actually matter 28:31 When one person wants commitment and the other feels pressured 29:12 When it may be time to step away 29:58 “Consequences are very clarifying” 31:43 Why months 7–8 can reveal real compatibility 32:16 “I need time” vs. being strung along 34:05 Does marriage still matter after 50? 35:19 Patience vs. settling: How do you know the difference? 36:14 Final takeaways 37:17 Send us your dating dilemma 💡 I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: If one of these dilemmas hit a little too close to home, I want to hear yours. 🎧 Listen Here Apple: From Mrs to Ms Spotify: From Mrs to Ms Stay connected with Andrea ▶ YouTube: @frommrs2ms ◎ Instagram:@from.mrs.2.ms ♪ TikTok: @from.mrs.2.ms 🌐 Website: From Mrs to Ms Podcast ✉️ Email: frommrstomspodcast@gmail.com Stay connected with Laurie Gerber ▶ YouTube ◎ Instagram 💙 Facebook: 🌐 LinkedIn Visit her website for more info: Laurie's Website Wondering if you’re even ready to date? Red Flags, Sex & Closing the Distance | Can Long-Distance Love Actually Last? Part 2

Long-distance love can be exciting, romantic and even a little addictive…but eventually, somebody has to ask: Where is this actually going? Amy Watts is back for Part 2 of our very honest conversation about long-distance relationships—and this time, we're getting into what happens after the excitement wears off and real life starts creeping in. Are you both making the same effort? Should you ever put your life on hold for someone? Are red flags easier to hide when you live hundreds—or thousands—of miles apart? And how do you know you're actually compatible when most of your time together feels like a mini vacation? We also get into one of the unexpected perks of long distance: the anticipation. 👀 Yes, we're talking flirting, FaceTime, sex, keeping the spark alive and why all that time apart can sometimes feel like one very long form of foreplay. Then we tackle the BIG questions: How do you test everyday compatibility? When should you start talking about relocation? Who moves? And when do you admit that love might not be enough to make the distance work? Amy also leaves us with one of my favorite lines from this conversation: She'd rather have an amazing relationship with someone on another planet than settle for “meh.” Same, girl. SAME. Because the goal isn't simply finding someone who's geographically convenient. It's finding a relationship that's actually worth making room for. 🎧 If you haven't listened to Part 1 yet, start there first! 💗 FREE LONG-DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP REALITY CHECK I created a free 15-question guide to help you figure out whether you're building something real—or falling for the fantasy. 👉 Get the free guide here: https://frommrs2ms.com/distance ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Long-Distance Love: When the Real Questions Begin 02:27 Is the Effort Actually Equal? 03:12 Time Zones & Communication Fatigue 05:21 How Distance Can Trigger Insecurity 08:08 Can Long Distance Expose Red Flags Faster? 09:02 Could Someone Be Hiding Another Life? 10:24 Consistency: Do Their Actions Match Their Words? 10:59 Don't Put Your Life on Hold 13:31 Why Long Distance Is Working for Me 16:22 Enjoying This Season Instead of Rushing It 17:18 The Red Flags You Don't Get to See 18:26 “Is NOT Seeing Red Flags a Red Flag?” 20:32 Have You Met Their Friends & Family? 21:31 The Pros of Long-Distance Dating 24:21 How Do You Keep the Sexual Spark Alive? 🔥 25:25 Why Distance Can Feel Like Foreplay 29:14 Are You Compatible in Everyday Life? 31:01 When Should Someone Move? 34:13 How Do You Know When It's Time to End It? 35:34 Why Your Friends Need to Meet Them 36:18 Amazing Long Distance—or “Meh” and Local? 37:14 The Biggest Takeaway 💡 I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: Are you building something real—or falling for the fantasy? 🎧 Listen Here Apple: From Mrs to Ms Spotify: From Mrs to Ms Stay connected with Andrea ▶ YouTube: @frommrs2ms ◎ Instagram:@from.mrs.2.ms ♪ TikTok: @from.mrs.2.ms 🌐 Website: From Mrs to Ms Podcast ✉️ Email: frommrstomspodcast@gmail.com CONNECT WITH AMY WATTS Instagram: @soshedidlifecoaching Facebook: @AmyWatts MindBodySoulSchool.com Please help support the show (every little bit helps 💕)

Can Long-Distance Relationships Actually Work? The Truth About Trust, Effort & Making It Last

Can long-distance relationships actually work or does the distance eventually expose everything that is not working? This week, Andrea is joined by friend and reinvention strategist Amy Watts for a candid conversation about the realities of dating someone who does not live down the street or even in the same state. Amy shares what she has learned from multiple long-distance relationships, including one that began after an established relationship suddenly became coast to coast. Andrea brings a completely different perspective. She is navigating long-distance dating herself for the first time and discovering that it may actually fit her life better than she expected. They get into the difference between building a genuine connection and living in the fantasy of weekend visits, why long-distance dating can force important conversations much earlier, and the questions you need to ask before investing your time, emotions and airfare. Plus, they talk trust, communication, attachment styles, self-sabotage, the anxiety that can creep in when you do not know when you will see each other again, and why having the next visit on the calendar can matter more than you think. Can distance actually help you build a stronger foundation or are you falling for the highlight reel? This is Part 1 of Andrea and Amy’s conversation.
