In this week’s episode we're talking with Cortney Kulers NP, Director of Virtual Health at Eventus. She recently presented a poster at the Society for Post Acute & Long Term Care’s annual conference. Cortney was kind enough to stop by and share the world her Virtual Health team is doing at Eventus and the amazing outcomes their experiencing with a new pilot program around falls and working with EMS teams.
We're also introducing a new biweekly segment called the Psych Med Minute. These segments are aimed at expanding knowledge around common medications used for psychiatry in geriatric populations.
Presenting this information is Eventus’ Associate CMO of Behavioral Health, Dr John Mezzullo. Double board-certified in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine, Dr. Mezzullo provides a unique whole-person perspective to the care delivered by Eventus WholeHealth providers. Dr. Mezzullo has extensive experience providing care in both in-patient and out-patient environments including many years in leadership positions with the top North Carolina medical systems.As Chief Medical Director of Behavioral Health for Eventus, Dr. Mezzullo helps train and lead the team of more than 250 Psychiatrists, PMHNPS, NPs and PAs. With an acute focus on quality and outcomes, Dr. Mezzullo is helping to ensure Eventus continues to build on a long history of leadership in Behavioral Health services to the Geriatric population.
Our first few Psych Med Minutes will be focused on Clozapine.

Keisha recently defended her thesis for a PhD in Leadership with a concentration in health sciences.
