    The Love Of A Father| EP 68

Send us Fan Mail Hey, welcome back to the Full Surrender Podcast!  Have you ever felt like you needed to get your life together before coming to God? Maybe you’ve struggled with guilt, shame, or the feeling that you have to prove yourself worthy of His love. In today’s episode, we’re diving into Romans 5:1–11 and exploring the beautiful truth of God’s love for us. Through Jesus Christ, we have been justified by faith and have peace with God. But what makes this passage so powerful is the reminder that God demonstrated His love for us while we were still sinners. Christ didn’t wait for us to become perfect before He gave His life for us. We’ll talk about what it means to be reconciled to God, why His love isn’t something we can earn, and how understanding the heart of our Father changes the way we approach Him.You don’t have to earn the love that God has already demonstrated through Jesus Christ. Our transformation isn’t what convinced God to love us. His love was demonstrated while we were still broken and separated from Him. My prayer is that this episode encourages you to rest in the finished work of Jesus, grow in your understanding of God’s grace, and walk confidently in the peace we have through Him. 📖 Scripture: Romans 5:1–11 If this episode speaks to you, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs this reminder. And as always, let’s continue growing in Christ and living a life fully surrendered to Him. What If Peace Doesn't Feel Peaceful? Ep 62

Send us Fan Mail Hi guys, welcome back to Full Surrender Podcast!  In this episode, we’re going into Matthew 26:36–46 and looking at Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane - not just through what He did, but through what He felt. Jesus experienced deep sorrow, anguish, and distress. He knew what was coming, and He asked the Father if there was another way. Yet, in the middle of all of those emotions, Jesus still surrendered to the Father’s will. This made me think about how often we define peace as the absence of hardship, uncertainty, fear, or emotional struggle. We sometimes say, “If it’s from God, I’ll have peace,” as though peace means everything will feel easy. But Gethsemane shows us something much deeper.  Jesus had peace not because He was free from pain, but because He knew the Father, knew His identity, understood His purpose, spent time in prayer, and trusted the Father - even when obedience was going to cost Him everything. Maybe peace isn’t the absence of war. Maybe peace is knowing who you belong to while you’re still standing in the middle of the battle. In this episode, we’ll talk about: • Jesus’ emotions in Gethsemane • The difference between feeling peaceful and having peace • Why God’s will doesn’t always feel comfortable • How Jesus’ identity shaped His surrender • The role of prayer and trusting the Father • What Gethsemane teaches us about true biblical peace If you’ve ever wondered, “Why don’t I feel peace about this?” or struggled to understand how something can be God’s will and still feel painful, I hope this episode encourages you. You can be sorrowful and still surrendered. You can be afraid and still trust God. You can be hurting and still have peace. Support the show
