Functional Independence

I am an Occupational therapist and my job is to get my patients functionally independent in all the activities they do in their daily living irrespective of what there diagnosis may be. I want to people to feel empowered and encouraged to make the best healthcare choices for themselves. I truly believe that our human body is the most magnificent machine ever made and what's most mind boggling is that it's self healing. All the doctors (clinicians), myself included - what we do is clear the hurdles / clutter so that the body can take over and heal itself. Thank you all for joining me!
