Romans: Not Ashamed of Good News Mat Shockney We need some good news. But, how do we know what is good? What do we do when news doesn’t seem good by bringing fear, guilt, shame, and half truths? God has Paul write His good news to a culture eerily similar to ours. God wants us to be able to declare we are NOT ASHAMED OF GOOD NEWS. #2020 #romans

Podcast Almost as Good as the Stage

As the producer of this podcast, I am always amazed at how effortlessly what happens on the FOTC stage translates to recorded medium. From the stage Mat captures your attention and keeps a smile on your face just long enough to drive home a compelling point. He preaches a standard TV episode length without the commercials, and just like your favorite TV show, makes you wish the episode could be a little longer. But grabbing his voice and wrapping it in podcast format doesn't disappoint. The message comes through just as strong, speaking to your circumstance and inspiring hope. Hear sound bytes such as "the already but not yet," "two testaments, one story, one God, one book," "the command is go, you need to get permission to stay," and "our mentality is we want justice for everybody else and mercy and grace for ourselves." Due to the marvel of modern technology you can listen to Mat weekly whether near or afar. And you will enjoy the original recording "Runaway" bumpering the talk. It is the icing on the cake :)

The Place to Be!

My wife and I are both Christians and graduate students here at Indiana University! When we moved to Bloomington, we were disappointed because we were leaving behind a Great church in St. Louis, MO (Rock Hill Baptist Church). We tried several other churches here in Bloomington, but when we went to Foot of the Cross, we knew immediately that it was the ONLY choice for us as Christians wanting to GROW and walk in a relationship with CHRIST JESUS!!!

The group is full of students such as us, but also has several others in various stages of life. They are all very welcoming, and make you feel at home.

The pastor and music minister are definitely NOT amateurs…Excellent and Professional and Extraordinaty!!!

Jason Harris openly shows his true desire to show the LOVE of Jesus to everyone and especially college students, but is not going to be pushed around by the “dumming down” ways of the world! The BIBLE is the source of TRUTH that is taught here, and is taught in its Entirety as the inerrable Word of GOD!

Come experience Foot of the Cross!
