Chasing Amy
You’ve probably heard of Kevin Smith’s 1997 film Chasing Amy where Ben Affleck “turns” a lesbian, but if you’ve seen the film, you know that’s far from the truth. Because it’s actually a sincere, nuanced, and progressive look at sexuality, identity, and relationships. And our guest this week, the delightful Sav Rodgers, is not only THE expert on the film, but is also directing a documentary about it called Chasing Chasing Amy that looks at the film’s cultural legacy.
