Making Calls on a Plane?







In the U.S. that is unheard of, but certain airlines are now allowing VoIP technologies as internet signals get better. Could all airlines eventually allow making calls, participating in Zoom and Teams calls, talking on Clubhouse or X events in the future?







Even if you are not in the air, this works well in a Taxi, Uber, Lyft, or even Bus rides, which allow voice data to be sent.







LCD Panel to Inform







On the front of the Skyted privacy mask is an LCD panel, which can be controlled via smartphone. When you’re on an important call, you could easily have a “On Call” logo appear. When just relaxing, the panel could show different types of graphics and images.







Maybe even a sponsor or two.

YouTube has been pretty competitive as of late. Channels like Mr. Beast have stepped up the game to try and get the best views for a video – quality over quantity. One thing they work on is thumbnails, and they’ve publicly stated they create multiple thumbnails to test out and see which one gives the best engagement.







That is a feature in Tubebuddy – a 3rd party add-on that gives you additional tools to build your YouTube channel.

Using the Tubebuddy Thumbnail Analyzer







The app uses the active thumbnail as the base, so you might want to start with something simple – maybe let YouTube choose the thumbnail to begin with. From the sidebar, choose “Thumbnail Analyzer”, and look at the heatmap the original thumbnail has.







Bring in Your Thumbnails







Depending on browser, you can drag a new image, or upload. Once the new image is uploaded, it will start the analyzing process. Then it will rank the image via the heatmap data of what the average person will focus on.















Add More Images







In the video, I added 25 different images – all without affecting the public video. Keep in mind, you can also do this before you publish, but feel free to update older videos to try and increase their views.







Keep in mind, images must be PNG or JPG, are larger than 50 KB but smaller than 2 MB.







Create an A/B Test







Tubebuddy also has a tool that will test two thumbnails to see which one will bring in more views. The A/B test tool can also test titles, descriptions, and tags. You can set for a imte period, or until it reaches statistical results.







Things I’ve learned from the Thumbnail Analyzer









* Colors matter – especially on the title







* Size of text is important, not too small, not too large



* Some people see thumbnails in a smaller size, like on the side of a YouTube page.











* Sharper images with better contrast help the score







* What you think will work might not.

Suno.ai is changing not only how we use AI, but how we think about music production. The ability to have a song within minutes, some with lyrics, ready for posting to whatever channel we choose.







What is Suno.ai?







This is a website that makes AI music with a simple prompt. From rock, to country, and many styles in-between. You can choose to make an instrumental song, ask for automated lyric creation, or simply just put your own lyrics in to get different styles.







When you request a song to be made, two songs are created. Each song takes 5 credits.

The development of v3 brought a big improvement in audio quality, and a more diverse library of musical styles and genres it can emulate. While not perfect, it can keep to the style that it starts.







For example, the song will try to match the chorus, every time it comes up. Some of the verses does have problems matching, but that can also depend on how the word flow happens.







Everything from LoFi beats, to meditation music, rock, country, and more. I’ve even made a couple orchestral and musical pieces, along with some possible Geekazine theme songs.







Continue or Finalize Your Song







When you make a request, only 2 minutes of the song will be created. If you like what you hear, you can continue on with more lyrics or other ideas.







Once you’ve made all the parts to go into your song, you can finalize it to hear the whole thing.







Remix Your Songs







This is something I’ve done several times already – if you don’t like the way a song is going, choose to remix it. It will give you the ability to fix lyrics, or just get a different approach to the song.







Saving and Sharing Your Work







If you like what you create and want to share it, simply set it to “Public”. It will then get listened to, liked, and possibly even remixed.







You can also download an MP3 or MP4 file to put into your playlists. That can help with a motivational workout, a home meditation, music for the car ride, or something to get you to fall asleep.







How Suno.ai Can Help the Musician







Music writers can get ideas of styles with lyrics. Bands can pick apart a song they create and make it their own.







I think that is one of the best options: I’ve written songs before, but I might not have a melody to go with it. I can put them in Suno.ai, and instantly get a few options to peruse.

I first saw EMeet at CES 2022, and was fairly impressed with their conference and streaming lineup. For those who are looking for a smaller solution to start their podcasts, livestreams, or family videos.







The StreamCam One was still in prototype phase at the time. But the offer to be an alternate solution to a MEVO multicam or the OBSBOT 3 cam streaming, I was interested.
