    OBSBOT Talent 2 Review: The Ultimate All-in-One Live Studio?

    Make a Logo on Fiverr The OBSBOT Talent 2 is the kind of production box that makes you question how much gear you really need for a live show. It combines a video switcher, recorder, streaming encoder, monitor and remote production system inside one portable unit. Add four HDMI inputs, network video support and four-channel ISO recording, and it starts looking like a serious alternative to an ATEM-based mobile setup. That flexibility comes with a $2,099 price tag, and there are a few physical design choices to consider. After unboxing and connecting csources, here is where the Talent 2 stands out. A Portable Studio With Room to Grow The Talent 2 is built around a 7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 1,920-by-1,080 resolution, 800-nit brightness, 10-bit color, a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and an anti-fingerprint coating. The display is bright and sharp indoors. OBSBOT also includes a sun shield for outdoor work, where even an 800-nit display can struggle in direct light. Its included stand holds the unit without blocking the connections and offers mounting points for accessories such as a microphone or light. A removable screen cover adds protection when the Talent 2 is packed for travel. This is a system designed to come out of a case, connect to cameras and start producing a show without requiring a separate monitor or computer. Four HDMI Inputs and Plenty of Network Sources Four HDMI inputs sit across the top of the unit. The Talent 2 also supports USB cameras and network sources including full-bandwidth NDI, NDI HX2, NDI HX3, SRT, RTSP and RTMP. IP sources can reach up to 4K at 60 frames per second, giving a producer several ways to bring in cameras, computers, phones and remote guests. In testing, I connected four HDMI devices, an OBSBOT Meet Flip over USB and multiple NDI sources, including an iPhone and an overhead camera. The Talent 2 handled individual feeds as well as layered layouts. I could resize sources, change their order and build a three-camera composition over a game feed directly on the touchscreen. The device can take 15-16 inputs comfortably, but it’s best to keep it around 7-8. Switch, Stream and Record From One Box The touchscreen interface provides quick access to inputs, scenes, graphics, audio and streaming controls. You can add lower thirds, titles, animated text, clocks, photos and prerecorded video. There are also tools for drawing on the program output, creating scene playlists, controlling PTZ cameras, adding timers and scoreboards, freezing a scene or fading to black. Four-Channel ISO Recording One of the Talent 2’s most important features is four-channel ISO recording. Instead of saving only the final switched program, it can record four isolated HDMI feeds for editing later. It supports MP4 and MOV recording with H.264 or H.265 encoding at up to 4K60. There is 128GB of internal storage, plus a microSD card slot and support for external USB storage. That combination makes the unit useful for live productions that also need editable camera originals. I had not yet completed a full ISO stress test at the time of this first hands-on review, so long-duration recording performance is one area I will continue to evaluate. Streaming to Four Destinations The Talent 2 can stream to as many as four destinations simultaneously, with native options for YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and Restream. It also supports RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, HLS and NDI HX3 output. Streaming resolutions range from 360p through 4K60, with a maximum published bitrate of 120Mbps, although the practical limit will depend on the available internet connection. Shows can run in standard 16:9 or vertical 9:16 orientation. That makes the Talent 2 useful for traditional livestreams as well as mobile-first productions. Two HDMI 2.0 outputs can deliver video at up to 4K60, while USB-C provides UVC and UAC output to a computer. The Ethernet port supports 2.5Gbps networking. Remote Production Is a Major Strength You do not have to operate the Talent 2 from its touchscreen. A browser-based interface works from a computer, tablet or phone on the same network. From there, I could switch sources, manage encoders, configure destinations, upload media and transfer recordings to a desktop for immediate post-production. The system also supports user profiles with limited controls. In a sports production, for example, one operator could manage audio from a tablet while another switches the show. The Talent 2 can create its own hotspot, which helps when a dedicated local control network is needed. Audio and Automatic Switching Two 3.5mm audio inputs can accept microphone or line-level sources, and a headphone output provides monitoring. Each source can be routed to the monitor and program mix, kept active across scene changes or turned off. The Video Follows Audio feature can automatically switch to the source associated with the person speaking, which could simplify panel discussions and interview shows. Designed for Work Away From the Studio Two battery bays on the rear support hot swapping, allowing one battery to be changed while the other keeps the Talent 2 running. Cellular support is built in through a SIM slot and external 5G antennas. Separate antenna connections cover Wi-Fi, and the package includes international power adapters and a locking USB-C cable. Multiple quarter-inch mounting points make it possible to place the unit on a tripod, arm or customized rig. For events, conferences, sports and mobile interviews, those mounting and power options are just as important as the switching features. The Biggest Problem: HDMI Port Spacing The four HDMI inputs are packed tightly together. With thicker cable ends—especially optical HDMI cables—it can be difficult or impossible to use every port without the connectors pressing against one another. I had to rearrange cables and find a thinner option to populate all four inputs. That pressure is not something I want on HDMI ports during a live production. Owners planning to use all four inputs should test their cable ends before an event and consider slim HDMI cables or compact adapters. A little more space between the ports would have made this much easier. I also saw a small amount of latency when comparing an NDI feed with a direct HDMI path. That is not unexpected when mixing network and wired video, and firmware updates may continue to improve performance, but timing is worth checking before combining source types in a production. Is the OBSBOT Talent 2 Worth $2,099? The Talent 2 is expensive compared with a basic hardware switcher (ATEM ISO around $600, ATEM Mini Extreme is $2,000), but the comparison changes once you add a monitor, streaming encoder, network video support, storage and remote control. OBSBOT has placed all of those tools in one battery-powered unit that can handle a surprisingly complex show. For a creator who only needs two HDMI cameras, the smaller and less expensive options will make more sense. For event producers, mobile studios and livestream teams that need four HDMI inputs, 4K streaming, isolated recordings and remote operation, the Talent 2 offers a compelling all-in-one workflow. The OBSBOT Talent 2 comes close to being the ultimate portable live studio because it removes so many separate boxes from the production chain. Its AMOLED display, flexible source support, four-channel ISO recording, remote interface and hot-swappable power give it serious potential as an ATEM replacement. It is not flawless. The cramped HDMI ports are a real frustration, the price puts it firmly in professional territory and some features deserve longer testing under live-show conditions.     FitcamX Dash Cam: Factory Look, Professional Results

    Make a Logo on Fiverr A dash cam can be useful after a collision, but many models look like an afterthought once they are stuck to the windshield and surrounded by visible cables. FitcamX takes a cleaner approach with vehicle-specific camera systems designed to blend into the area around the rearview mirror. The FitcamX dash cam tested here combines front and rear recording, collision detection, parking monitoring and app access in a system that looks more like factory equipment than a typical add-on camera. Installation requires some work, and the exact parts vary by vehicle, but the finished result is discreet and capable. FitcamX supplied the product and sponsored the accompanying video. All opinions are those of Geekazine. A Dash Cam Designed Around Your Vehicle FitcamX offers configurations for many vehicle makes and models. On supported vehicles, the camera can replace or integrate with the factory housing around the rearview mirror, giving it a cleaner appearance than a universal dash cam mounted in the middle of the windshield. The version tested was an aftermarket configuration installed in an older Chevrolet Trailblazer. It uses a compact housing that mounts close to the windshield rather than a larger vehicle-specific shroud. Buyers should check FitcamX compatibility carefully because the camera housing, power cable and installation method can differ from one vehicle to another. Keeping the camera close to the glass is important. A tight fit helps reduce reflections and light leaking into the lens from inside the vehicle. The front lens can be tilted up or down after installation, while the rear camera also needs to be adjusted after it is attached to the back window. 4K Front Recording and Optional Rear Coverage FitcamX configurations can record the front view at up to 4K resolution, or 2160p at approximately 30 frames per second. Rear-camera resolution depends on the package, with 1440p and 1080p options available. The camera uses an f/1.6 aperture, a 160-degree viewing angle and wide dynamic range to improve visibility in changing light. A 64GB microSD card was included with the review unit, and the system supports cards up to 256GB. Loop recording automatically overwrites older files when the card fills, allowing the dash cam to continue recording without requiring regular manual cleanup. The front and rear cameras create separate video files. That means footage from the same drive must be matched by time when both angles are needed. It adds an extra step, but it also keeps each recording easy to view or export on its own. Collision Detection and Parking Monitoring A built-in G-sensor gives the FitcamX smart dash cam its collision detection capability. The system can react to an impact and preserve footage, including while the vehicle is parked when constant power is available. The camera normally operates from the vehicle’s 12-volt system and can switch to a lower-power 5-volt mode after the vehicle is turned off. That helps reduce battery drain while keeping parking protection available. Any always-on accessory can still affect an aging battery, so drivers who leave a vehicle unused for long periods should monitor battery condition or disconnect the camera. Collision sensitivity is adjustable. A high setting may cause more frequent activations and use more battery, while the low setting used during testing did not create problems. The best setting will depend on where the vehicle is parked and how often normal movement or vibration triggers the sensor. Installation Requires Planning The package includes trim tools and the cabling needed to route power and connect the rear camera. Hiding the cables requires carefully working them behind the vehicle’s interior trim from the front camera to the power source and rear window. Power can be connected through a compatible fuse-box hardwire kit or an optional OBD adapter, depending on the vehicle and FitcamX package. A fuse-box installation requires identifying constant and switched power sources. Drivers who are not comfortable working with automotive electrical connections should have the system installed professionally. The OBD connection used during testing made the installation easier to manage and provided a convenient way to unplug the camera before an extended trip. Availability and price of the OBD adapter vary by vehicle, and it may need to be purchased separately. The optional rear camera mounts inside the vehicle and is not weatherproof. Hatchback owners may need several attempts to position it correctly because the viewing angle changes when the hatch is opened. Cleaning the glass thoroughly before applying the adhesive is also essential; the review unit’s rear camera came loose when it was attached over a small amount of residue. Wi-Fi App Access Has One Annoying Limitation Built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi lets iOS and Android devices connect directly to the FitcamX. The app provides a live view for aiming the lenses, changing settings and transferring recordings without removing the microSD card. The biggest inconvenience appeared when using wireless Apple CarPlay. The phone tried to switch between the vehicle’s CarPlay connection and the dash cam’s Wi-Fi network, making it harder to stay connected to the camera. A dedicated CarPlay integration would make viewing and transferring footage much easier. Large video files can also take time to download through the phone. Removing the microSD card and copying footage directly to a computer is faster, although accessing the card requires sliding the camera from its mount. Neither method is difficult, but both add friction when footage needs to be retrieved quickly. Clear Video During Day and Night Driving After several weeks of use, the FitcamX delivered clear front and rear footage during daytime, dusk and nighttime driving. The front camera captured a useful view of the road without becoming a visual distraction inside the cabin. The rear camera also recorded the road effectively, although reflections and rear-window heater lines were visible in the test vehicle. Those issues depend heavily on the glass, mounting position and vehicle design rather than the recording system alone. The camera continued recording briefly after the vehicle was parked, and the low-profile installation remained secure during normal driving. Once adjusted correctly, the system required little attention and automatically handled daily recording. The Bottom Line The FitcamX dash cam stands out because it can look like part of the vehicle instead of another gadget attached to the windshield. Its combination of high-resolution front recording, optional rear coverage, collision detection and parking monitoring covers the features most drivers expect from a modern smart dash cam. Installation is more involved than plugging a camera into a power outlet, and the phone connection can clash with wireless CarPlay. Video transfers are also faster when the microSD card is moved to a computer. Those drawbacks are balanced by reliable recording, clean integration and flexible power options. Pricing starts around $169 and varies by vehicle, camera package and power adapter.     AutoCut Helps Speed up Editing Time?

    Make a Logo on Fiverr AI video-editing services can create captions, remove pauses and turn horizontal videos into social clips, but many require uploading footage to a website and downloading the finished result. AutoCut takes a different approach by putting those tools inside Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. The AutoCut Premiere plugin and Resolve plugin can automate repetitive parts of an edit while leaving the resulting cuts, captions, camera changes and B-roll inside the timeline. That is the important distinction: AutoCut does not try to replace the editor. It attempts to complete the first pass so the editor can concentrate on corrections and creative decisions. AutoCut sponsored the accompanying video and provided access to the software. All opinions are those of Geekazine. What AutoCut Adds to Premiere and Resolve AutoCut installs on Windows and macOS and works from inside Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. It connects to AutoCut’s cloud services, so an internet connection is required even though the editor remains inside the familiar desktop application. The available modules include silence removal, automatic captions, podcast editing, zooms, B-roll, viral clips, repeated-take detection, profanity filtering, resizing and automatic chapters. Feature availability can differ between Premiere and Resolve. During testing, for example, Auto Resize was available in Premiere but not in the Resolve version. Timeline-Based AI Editing Unlike a browser-based AI editing service that returns a collection of rendered clips, AutoCut makes changes within the project timeline. Editors can extend a cut, replace a shot, move B-roll, correct a caption or disable an automated effect without rebuilding the entire project. That flexibility matters when the AI makes a nearly correct decision. An editor can fix the result in seconds instead of accepting an imperfect export or repeating the automated process from the beginning. Automatic Captions Without Leaving the Project AutoCaptions analyzes a selected audio track across the full timeline or a defined set of in-and-out points. Limiting the analysis to a specific section can reduce processing time when only part of a project needs captions. The software creates a transcript that can be reviewed and corrected before captions are added. Editors can also supply an existing SRT file. Once the text is ready, AutoCut provides controls for fonts, animation, highlight colors, line count, position, width and size. Captions Stay Editable The finished captions appear as a normal caption track in Premiere. Individual words and timing can be adjusted with the editor’s standard tools, making it easier to correct names, brand terms and transcription mistakes. Safe-area guides also help position captions for vertical and horizontal social formats. In the test project, AutoCut generated and styled the caption track in roughly a minute. The transcription was generally accurate, although it still needed the same human review expected from other automatic transcription tools. Turning Horizontal Video Into Vertical Clips Auto Resize converts a sequence for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels and square social formats. It analyzes the video, follows the subject and creates a new sequence at the selected aspect ratio. Tracking speed can be adjusted, and a watermark can be added for client previews. The test conversion completed quickly and followed a single speaker effectively. A split-screen shot with two people created more trouble because the system did not always know which face or layout should remain in frame. AI Gets the Edit Started, Not Finished Auto Resize still saved time because every adjustment remained editable. Tracking could be disabled for a specific shot, the crop could be repositioned and cuts could be moved directly in Premiere. Browser-based tools can have similar framing problems, but they do not always provide the same level of timeline control afterward. AutoCut Podcast Handles Multicam Switching AutoCut Podcast is designed for interviews and multicamera shows. The editor identifies the audio tracks, assigns each speaker to a camera and can include a split-screen angle. AutoCut then listens to the conversation and creates camera changes based on who is speaking. Reaction shots can be enabled to show the person who is listening, and shot duration can be adjusted for a faster or more relaxed pace. The finished result uses Premiere’s multicamera tools, so every automated camera choice can be changed later. Fast First Pass With Some Cleanup A six-minute, 30-second test podcast was processed in under a minute after the tracks were configured correctly. Most camera changes worked well, but the opening shot selected the guest while the host was speaking. One safety audio track also needed to be muted to remove an echo. Those were small fixes compared with manually switching the entire interview. The automated edit could be reviewed at higher playback speed, corrected where necessary and then finished with normal audio processing. B-Roll, Zooms and Repeated Takes AutoBrolls analyzes the conversation and suggests stock footage or AI-generated images. The module can use Storyblocks content with an eligible subscription and lets the editor control how frequently B-roll appears. The generated media is placed on an overlay track, where its duration, scale, position and transitions can be changed. Not every suggestion matched the context perfectly, but unwanted clips were easy to replace or delete. Automated Motion and Cleanup AutoZoom can add speaker-based zooms, cut-based punch-ins or smoother motion. The zoom range and animation style are adjustable, which helps avoid the aggressive jump-cut look used by some social videos. Processing the test podcast took around five to six minutes, longer than the caption and multicamera tools. AutoCut Repeat looks for false starts and repeated lines, a common problem when recording scripted videos. Suggested removals are highlighted so the editor can approve or reject them. It made some incorrect choices in testing, but reviewing highlighted sections was still faster than searching the entire recording manually. Premiere Plugin vs. Resolve Plugin The Resolve plugin offers many of the same core tools, including silence removal, captions, podcast editing, B-roll, viral clips, repeated-take detection, profanity filtering and chapters. AutoCut recognizes the license on the computer, making it possible to switch between Premiere and Resolve on the same machine. The feature sets are not identical, and new modules may reach one editor before the other. Editors should confirm that the specific automation they need is supported in their preferred application. The Biggest Limitations AutoCut requires an internet connection. If the computer is offline, the cloud-assisted features will not work. That can be a problem for editors working while traveling or in locations with unreliable connectivity. The license is also tied to one machine at a time. Editors who regularly move between a desktop workstation and a laptop must deactivate one computer or purchase another license. A simpler sign-in system that allows users to manage activations between two machines would make the plugin more flexible. AI editing also needs supervision. AutoCut can make an impressive first pass, but multicamera choices, B-roll, reframing and repeated-take detection should all be reviewed before export. Pricing and the Bottom Line Plans for Basic and AI Editing AutoCut offers a 14-day trial. At the time of the review, the Basic plan was approximately $80 per year and focused mainly on silence removal. The AI plan was approximately $179 per year and included the broader set of AI editing tools. Enterprise pricing is available for teams and organizations with multiple users. Does AutoCut Actually Save Time? Yes, particularly for repeatable work such as captions, silence removal, podcast camera switching and social-video resizing. AutoCut will not eliminate the final editing pass, but it can reduce the amount of mechanical work required to reach it. The plugin is most valuable for creators who want AI editing assistance without giving up Premiere or Resolve. Because the results remain inside the timeline, AutoCut provides a useful middle ground between fully manual editing and one-click web services that limit what can be changed afterward.     AOHi 280W GaN Plus Charger Review: Smart Power for Your Desk!

The AOHi 280W GaN Plus Charger takes that idea a step further by combining six charging ports, a color status display and app-based controls in one substantial desktop unit. With four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports, this 280W GaN charger is designed to power a laptop, tablet, phone, camera and other accessories from one outlet. It is not a small travel adapter, but it could be a practical replacement for the collection of charging bricks normally spread across a desk. AOHi supplied the charger and sponsored the accompanying video. All opinions are those of Geekazine. Six Ports With Up to 280 Watts of Shared Power The AOHi charger delivers up to 280 watts across its six ports. The four USB-C connections handle modern devices such as MacBooks, Windows laptops, tablets and smartphones, while the two USB-A ports support older cables and accessories. The first USB-C port supports PD 3.2 charging and can be prioritized for devices that need more power. As with any multiport USB charger, the full 280 watts is shared rather than delivered to every port simultaneously. The amount of power each device receives depends on its charging requirements, the cable being used and what else is connected. That makes the AOHi a better fit for a workstation than a single-device fast charger. One outlet can handle a laptop, an iPad, a phone and several production accessories without requiring separate wall adapters. A Display That Shows What the Charger Is Doing The front display is one of the AOHi’s most useful features. It shows total charging output, individual port activity and the charger’s internal temperature. A button on the side cycles through the available information. The screen is not touch-sensitive, but it gives you a quick view of the charging load without requiring a separate USB power meter. When several devices are connected, you can see which ports are drawing the most power and when a device begins reducing its draw as its battery fills. The charger can also display the time after it is connected to Wi-Fi. From a short distance, the AOHi looks more like a small desktop clock than a typical USB charger. Wi-Fi and App Controls Add More Flexibility AOHi’s companion app connects to the charger through a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and is available for Android and iOS. The app provides a clearer view of individual port usage and lets you remotely turn ports on or off. Three charging modes are available. Smart mode automatically manages the available power, Turbo mode favors faster charging, and Custom mode gives you more control over how power is allocated. You can also rename the charger, check its temperature, review usage information and install firmware updates. Remote port control may sound unnecessary until several devices are plugged in. If a tablet no longer needs to charge, for example, you can shut off that port without tracing cables across the desk. It also gives you a way to stop charging selected devices while leaving everything connected. The 2.4GHz-only Wi-Fi support is a limitation to keep in mind. Most modern routers still support that band, but some users may need to enable it or place the charger on a separate IoT or guest network. Real-World Charging With Six Devices For testing, the AOHi was connected to a MacBook Air, an iPad, a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, an Asus phone, an OBSBOT Tail 2 camera and a DJI Pocket camera. All six ports were active at the same time. The combined power draw generally moved between 100 and 130 watts, well below the charger’s 280-watt ceiling. The MacBook Air drew roughly 60 to 65 watts during parts of the test, while the iPad reached around 28 to 30 watts. The other devices drew smaller amounts based on their own charging limits. Those results also show why most people may not regularly reach the charger’s full capacity. Phones, tablets and cameras often reduce their draw as their batteries fill. The extra headroom is still valuable when charging multiple laptops or other higher-power USB-C devices at once. After approximately 30 minutes under load, the charger’s display reported a temperature of about 49 degrees Celsius. The enclosure felt warm, as expected during fast charging, but the built-in temperature reading made it easy to monitor. Running Smart mode instead of Turbo mode may reduce heat at the cost of slower charging. Built for a Permanent Spot on the Desk This is a dense charger with enough weight to stay in place when cables are connected or removed. Rubber feet help prevent it from sliding, and the low-profile design keeps the ports accessible without placing another bulky adapter directly on the wall. The weight makes it less appealing for everyday travel, although it could still replace several chargers in a larger gear bag. Its strongest use case is on a desk, in a studio or in a shared workspace where several people need USB-C fast charging from a single outlet. Bringing the Downrange Area to Life Much of the recent technology added to driving ranges has focused on the individual hitting bays. Screens, ball-tracking systems, comfortable furniture, heaters and automated ball dispensers have all improved the experience near the golfer. Instead of sitting at the front of the room like a traditional webcam or PTZ camera, this tall, table-mounted system is designed to sit in the middle of the action and capture nearly everyone around it. With four built-in cameras, AI framing, multiple meeting modes and optional wireless connectivity, the Nearity 360 Alien is built for boardrooms, hybrid meetings, presentations and conference setups where one camera needs to do the work of several. A Conference Camera Built for the Middle of the Table The Nearity 360 Alien is a 4K wireless camera system designed to capture a room from the center of the table. It uses four cameras to create a panoramic meeting view, then relies on AI to identify speakers and keep people framed. That makes it especially useful for rooms where people are seated around a table instead of lined up in front of a screen. Rather than forcing everyone to crowd around a laptop webcam, the Nearity 360 Alien gives remote participants a clearer view of who is speaking and where they are in the room. Meeting Modes: Discussion, Presentation and Global The Nearity 360 Alien includes three main modes: Discussion Mode, Presentation Mode and Global Mode. Discussion Mode Discussion Mode is the best choice for meetings with multiple people talking around the table. The camera identifies faces and can show multiple participants in framed sections, while still keeping the panoramic view visible. In testing, the system was able to recognize more than one person in the room and place them into the split layout. When someone speaks, the system can highlight or shift attention toward that person, helping remote attendees follow the conversation. Presentation Mode Presentation Mode is meant for a meeting where one person is leading the discussion. This mode keeps the presenter as the focus while still letting the room remain visible. For lectures, board updates, demos or hybrid presentations, this is probably the mode most people will use. Global Mode Global Mode gives a broader room view. It is useful when you want everyone visible and do not need the AI to focus tightly on individual speakers. Video Quality and AI Framing The Nearity 360 Alien uses a Starvis CMOS sensor and offers USB 4K output, with HDMI output up to 1080p. The camera also includes image controls such as brightness, saturation, contrast, hue, white balance, HDR and regional frequency settings. In a well-lit room, the image looks clean and usable for meetings. Studio lighting looked especially good, and the camera handled face framing well. In a real meeting environment, it did a solid job following the conversation and keeping speakers visible. Lighting matters, though. Like most conference cameras, the Nearity 360 Alien performs best when the room is evenly lit. In darker or more complicated environments, such as a stage or band-meeting setup with speakers and instruments in the background, the AI can occasionally get confused. Audio: Built-In Mics, Speaker and External Mic Pucks The camera has built-in microphones on top, along with a speaker near the bottom. The included external microphone puck adds more flexibility because it can be placed closer to the person speaking or moved toward the center of the conversation. There is also a mute button on the mic puck, which is useful in a meeting where people need quick local control. Adding a second mic gives the system better coverage on both sides of a larger table. One practical tip: place the camera or mic puck on a soft surface like a mouse pad if the table picks up vibration. That can help reduce thumps, glass clinks and table noise before the audio processing has to clean it up. Software and Controls The Nearity software gives access to device settings, firmware updates, image controls, mode selection, network settings and options like flipping the image or enabling a watermark. The app is not the only way to use the camera. One of the best parts of the Nearity 360 Alien is that it can work directly over HDMI or USB without making the setup feel overly complicated. The HDMI output is convenient, the remote control is genuinely useful, the mic puck adds flexibility and the wireless dongle makes the system easier to deploy in rooms where you do not want cables running across the table. It also works well for hybrid meetings where people in the room and people online both need to feel included. Cons The main downside is the small dead spot behind the camera. It is not a true edge-to-edge 360-degree view, so placement matters. The camera is also fairly large, which may not fit every table setup. And while the AI tracking works well in normal meeting conditions, more chaotic environments with multiple visual distractions can make it less reliable. Is the Nearity 360 Alien the Best Wireless Conference Camera?
