I’ve never seen a Pokémon movie, nor will I likely ever, and Gen 0 is one of my favourite podcasts: there’s a certain joy in listening to passionate people elucidate on something with which you have no experience. Doug and Sean have a genuine appreciation for the material, and occasionally bring interesting historical insight, but aren’t without humour when it comes to its shortcomings either. Gen 0 moves at a great pace and is fantastically edited, and the theme song gets stuck in my head for days on end. Give it a go!
