Gender Journeys

hi !! i’m a teen whos been through a lotta gender stuff . it’s complicated, especially because i’m pretty “normal” if yk what i mean. i don’t really know what’s going on with me and what im going to think in the future, but this podcast is so comforting. i love all the resources you gave and how openly you’ll discuss stuff. i’m sad you guys haven’t posted in so long, but i hope you’re doing well!

I follow a lot of podcasts on gender and queer stuff, and Gender Journeys is definitely my favorite. El and Josie are smart, relevant, and fun to listen to. It’s a quick and entertaining introduction to today’s cutting edge thinking on gender, sexual orientation, and identity. For anyone who’s going through their own gender journey (or maybe just not sure what’s going on with their gender!) I can’t recommend it enough. El and Josie bring so much thoughtfulness and self love, it’s like being wrapped up in a warm blanket of acceptance and personal discovery. During my transition Gender Journeys really helped me understand and break out of some of the stereotypes and fears that had been holding me back, and embrace the wonderful uniqueness of who I am. 5 stars. I love it. ❤️

I found this podcast just a few days ago while searching for information about non binary top surgery. I am so thankful that I found this podcast and probably shouldn’t note just how many episodes I have listened to in about a 48 hour timespan! I am having top surgery in two weeks but had never thought about my pronouns/being nonbinary until my surgeon asked me during my consult. Thank you, El and Josie, for what you are doing, and for sharing your stories. Your work is very helpful and I am eager for more!
