    Season 4 Ep 20 Houston Dash make history and NWSL playoffs, Bundy Effect still going, and more

    This week Sean Ringrose was joined by ultra-special guest co-host, Hadee Zabed. Hadee and Sean discussed Houston Dynamo interim Head Coach, Kenny Bundy, and an article posted by Dustyn Richardson on Dynamo Theory about whether Kenny Bundy is the right guy for the long-term Head Coach position. Both disagreed with Dustyn's assessment, and both offered their reasons why he is not the right guy. Also, they discuss the Houston Dash's first EVER NWSL Playoffs berth, and it is at HOME! PNC Stadium is going to be rocking, and you don't want to miss it! They talked about the Dash opponent, KC Current, and who to watch for on their team, as well as the players key for the Dash's playoff hopes. Finally, they discussed the Yates Investigation and the massive 300+ page report which dropped yesterday. They shared their individual thoughts, and offered some very heated specific opinions.     S4 E19 | The Kenny Bundy Effect and its impact on the Houston Dynamo; Houston Dash need 3 more points to secure their first ever NWSL Playoff berth, and more

    Hosts Mark Segovia and Sean Ringrose dive into the latest Houston Dash results, examining what it will take for the ladies to secure their first ever NWSL Playoffs appearance. They shared their personal pick for NWSL Goal of the Season with Maria "La Bombi" Sanchez's strike over the weekend. The guys also discussed the impact Kenny Bundy has had since becoming Interim Head Coach, and why even if the Dynamo win the remainder of their matches he should not be in serious consideration to become the next Head Coach. The Dynamo played at home against New England Revolution and demolished them 3-1, and Fafa Picault scored a well-taken PK, the team's second of the match though the first was saved. Fafa also scored a banger from the top of the box with plenty of fans calling for him to be part of the Goal of the Week nominations. It is clear Bundy has been a major part of the freeing of certain players to just let them play the game their way, and it is clear the impact putting players in positions to succeed and do what they do best has elevated to quality of the team. Pat Onstad, GM of the Houston Dynamo, said it best in an interview on Glenn Davis' show last week: "This team should have been good enough to compete for the playoff spots." Bundy has proven Pat right, and the team are proving Bundy is more than ready for the next step -- even if that next step is not as Head Coach of the Houston Dynamo FC in 2023.

The team did manage to nab a point in Colorado, and the guys talked about Mark's trip to Colorado and the level of support that showed up and showed out for the away match. The guys also talked more about their continued frustrations with Paulo Nagamura as head coach, and discuss why it is likely he returns for another season even if he shouldn't. The guys discussed the Houston Dash, including Ebony Salmon is on fire at the moment as a Dash player. The discussed the hiring and announcement of Alex Stinger as GM of the Houston Dash, and the trades bringing Valerie Gauvin and Caprice Dydasco to the team.     Season 4 Episode 16 | Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash Therapy - Rachel Daly heads to Europe, Hector Herrera in MLS All Star Skills Challenge, #PauloOut and more

    The guys, Mark Segovia and Sean Ringrose, start the show off talking about Rachel Daly and her decision to not return to the Houston Dash. The club respected her request and transferred her to Aston Villa in England, where Daly is from. They talked about the impact of such a move for this team, and if Juan Carlos Amoros, head coach of the Dash, can overcome such an important loss for the club. Then, the guys talked about the MLS All Star match and Skills Challenge, which Hector Herrera participated in -- and helped MLS to victory over Liga MX. Both hosts agreed that maybe the MLS All Star Match has no real value anymore for MLS clubs, and really even for MLS as a league. Chatters brought up that maybe Leagues Cup is a better overall entertainment and representation of the quality of play from both leagues for viewers, and maybe it should take the place of MLS All Star match. Finally, they discussed the state of Houston Dynamo, and made it clear both support #NagaOut. Both feel Naga's lost the team and the players, and there is not much hope left as far as either are concerned.

Mark and Sean also talked Houston Dash and Rachel Daly's latest trophy from the Women's Euro Championship, after helping England secure victory over Germany in extra time. Also, the guys shared their feelings on the Houston Dynamo FC struggles and their frustrations and pain at the 6-0 loss to Philadelphia Union on the road. What can be done? Who can be brought in? What needs to change? The guys answered these questions and more.     This week's episode featured hosts Mark Segovia and Sean Ringrose talking about the intense and impressive vibe the fans brought to PNC both pre and post-match on Saturday for Hector Herrera's Dynamo debut. The Dynamo managed to claim a point against a very tough and very game FC Dallas side. The guys also discussed the frustrations from last night's loss to Austin FC, and how disrespectful it was of the players' and coach's efforts in front of such strong travelling fan support on a Tuesday evening. Questions came in asking about the youth, and what can be done before the end of the season to improve. Further questions were brought up asking whether the team should be at the point where winning is not what matters at the moment, but instead beginning the preparations for 2023. Does the rest of the season matter if the goal is to just barely make the playoffs, especially if you know you will be moving over 50% of the players on the squad elsewhere in the offseason? Finally, the guys discussed with chat about if there is a possibility out there for someone with more to offer as Head Coach than Paulo Nagamura, and the name Tata Martino was brought up. What did the guys think, and could Martino even remotely be a possibility for the struggling lowly Houston Dynamo FC?
