Cuban Health Care: The Ongoing Revolution - Don Fitz

Quiet as it's kept inside the United States, the Cuban revolution has achieved some phenomenal goals, reclaiming Cuba's agriculture, advancing its literacy rate to nearly 100 percent - and remaking its medical system. Cuba has transformed its health care to the extent that this "third-world" country has been able to maintain a first-world medical system, whose health indicators surpass those of the United States at a fraction of the cost.

Katie singer on Abe’s genuinely useful podcast

I listened to all three interviews/conversations about the carbon footprint of the WWW and its actual and potential dangers to the human species on so many levels. As Katie says, we as humans are designed to see only what is right in front of our faces. This podcast points to what lies beyond our comprehension but it is in that realm that the answers lie so we must keep searching in the beyond. Thank you for enhancing my awareness of this huge and important issue and for leading me towards acceptance and action. I wish I could turn my internet off at night but I share it with a housemate who pays for it and keeps it on 24/7.

Awesome podcast!

I appreciate the mix of guests and Abe’s way of maintaining the flow in each conversation, but also allowing for silence. Can’t wait to hear more!! Love the original artwork and music!

Yes, Useful

I’ve listened to the first four episodes, and “Genuinely” found “Useful” nuggets in each one. Especially useful to me are discussion on stillness (02 Cycling Through Remembering) and truths (04 Helicopters). Conversation can help participants — and listeners — understand themselves better! (Full disclosure, I’m Abe’s dad.)
