Perfect Timing
Every GenX-er should should run, not walk to listen to this podcast. The banter between the co-hosts is fun and respectful, the history and backstory of the songs is interesting, and the songs(while I respectfully disagree with some of the choices) are a blast from the past.

Found this podcast and it’s like traveling back to the days of listening to the radio waiting for my favorite song back in the 80s. Great insight into the selected songs and a wide variety of tunes are talked about. Keep the playlists coming!

I’ve been listening to Gen X Grown Up for a couple of years now and they recently did a crossover event with several other podcasts including Gen X Mixtape.
I’ve been listening to the new episodes of Mixtape as they come out and I’ve also enjoyed the “Encore” episodes which is new to me. I can’t wait to get to the backlist next time I get some time off.
I love hearing the guys talk about music. I always learn fascinating things about songs I know and also get introduced to some new stuff too.
