    Our Ha Long Bay Adventure (Vietnam)

    Vietnam was never in our original plans when we set off around the world. But oh how we are delighted to now be here and having a fantastic time. We headed to Ha Long bay for a 3 day 2 night cruise aboard the Dragon Legend 2 and it did not dissapoint. The kids had a blast, the food was tremendous and the scenery spectaular.     Homeschooling with Skyla

    An early moring blether with Skyla about home schooling, travel and adventures. Our journey around the world takes alot of planning just like planning ahead what school work the kids will do. We pick our days and step back when the kids are not feeling it. To force them to study just doesnt work while having them together working at the same time is often a distraction. Skyla has been great and gets stuck into the books while her brothers often take a bit more encouragement. The wortld is a classroom and with the adventures the kids are going on school often takes place outdoors experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat instead of on a screen.     Family Travel - A catch up from Australia

    Welcome to The GET AFTER IT Family Podcast coming to you from a cold and miserable Brisbane, Australia!  That’s right folks we have landed in Aussie and the weather feels like home! Not to worry 28 degrees and sunshine is due tomorrow and the coming week! We are in Australia for a short stop before we head on to Bali and we thought about time to release our first Travel Podcast.   Following an incredible experience living off grid in Fiji we have so much to discuss but please bear with us as we set up the Pods and work out how best to progress the shows.     #259 - Oli France - Death Valley to Denali

    Nashy catches up with Oli for a chat on all this adventure. POushing out of your comfort zone and just getting started! From 23rd March to 3rd June 2024, Oli France became the first Brit to complete the 3,556-mile journey from Death Valley to Denali, the lowest point on the North American continent at 86 meters below sea level to the highest at 6,194 meters entirely by human-power. The challenge involved a solo bike ride through deserts, mountain ranges and frozen roads before Oli joined his 4-man mountaineering team for a 4-week, unsupported climb to the summit of Denali via the Kahiltna Glacier and the West Butress Route. Oli's Death Valley to Denali project is a part of The Ultimate Seven Project: Oli France’s record breaking challenge to become the first person to travel from the lowest geographical point to the highest on all seven continents - entirely by human power.
