The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges (The Center) created the Get Centered Podcast to share stories of the individuals served and information about the essential services offered at The Center.
The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges is a 501(c)(3) adaptive recreational facility serving people from 6-years-old to end of life who are impacted by physical challenges. The Center provides opportunities to promote physical and cognitive function, socialization, and life satisfaction to improve their lives.

Leslie began attending The Center in 2016 after a motorcycle accident resulted in the loss of her leg. After coming to The Center to find support after amputation, Leslie quickly found a community where people with many different disabilities are treated as if they have no differences. Not only did she find community, Leslie also discovered a passion for adaptive sports at The Center.
