    Ladies, so many of you have a hardened and wounded heart around marriage and being single and it needs to be healed in Jesus name. This episode is for you if you’ve had parents who got divorced or you come from a dysfunctional family you've had to overcome. Maybe it’s made you fearful of marriage or made you think you never will get married. I believe the Lord wants to give you another perspective on this. He wants to soften your heart and heal it so you CAN believe in marriage for yourself no matter what marriage has looked like to you in the past.The other person this is for is the woman who is questioning her belief in modern feminism. You thought it was supposed to make you feel empowered and it is not. It has given you a bad view of men, and women and damaged your idea of what it is to be a woman. The Lord never intended you to feel oppressed as a woman. You are a strong woman of God and you need to stop letting the world define you. This episode is also for those of you who struggle with the whole identity of being single. First of all let me tell you, I get it. I didn’t date until I got into my twenties, then I did it wrong then finally in my early thirties after getting sober, God put that guy in front of me who wasn’t perfect, but was right for me. I know the Lord wanted me to seek HIM first and be on the road to healing before I met Him. But, let me tell you, I struggled with that singleness for so long. I let it be my identity instead of learning my main identity was in Christ. If there is anything I can tell you, let your identity be in Christ.

    Have you ever struggled with guilt and shame around things you've done when it comes to sexual sin? Have you ever even realized something like that could have a negative impact on your self-esteem and more importantly, your spiritual life?We live in a world that is so focused on sex being for pleasure and the message of "Do whatever you want with your body" or "Do whatever feels good," that many of us don't realize just because it "feels" good or it's "popular" doesn't mean it's good for our souls.1 Corinthians 6:12 says,You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything. What so many think is "sexual freedom" is actually slavery to the thing you think is just about pleasuring yourself. Now, if you think I'm saying here that sex is bad, you've got it all wrong. Sex is a beautiful gift of God made for a married man and woman. I knew that as a kid, but I didn't know know it because I wasn't in the Word. In this podcast, you will hear me share about:- The landscape of what the world is showing us about sexual sin,- My story of overcoming it,- A study of 1 Corinthians 6 on the topic and then some direction for those of you who may be struggling with it.I didn't want to record this message. But the Spirit of the Lord kept leading me to it. I believe too many of you haven't been set free from it and it's time to be.     Grief and suffering are two of THE hardest things in life to go THROUGH. Emphasis on the word "through." Why? Because you have to go through them, which you can't change.BUT -- what you can change is how you respond to them. How you respond to grief and suffering that changes your life is what sets your life in one direction or another. One is where you let God pull you out of the pit. The other is where you think you have to go it alone. But you do not. This podcast was important to record because every one of us will go through this. You don't avoid it as a human. It's also not something that discriminates age. Anyone of any age can feel it. It's not always losing someone you love, which can make it hard to identify. It comes in all shapes and sizes, and since the world wants you to get over it, I'm here to help you look at it, so you can get THROUGH it --- with the only one who can GET you through it. These tips are based on personal experience of not just losing my father, but losing other people we love, starting a new life after addiction recovery and so many other things.     This episode is with my good friend Amanda Florczykowski. She is an Author and President of Able Moms International. God is using her in many and mighty ways and I want you to hear how He’s been working in her life. Backstory, we met at their first national conference in Illinois. I was supposed to go to a political event in DC and the Lord sent me in the clear opposite direction to Illinois for Mom Comm and I am sure thankful He did. Amanda is an amazing and inspiring leader, mom, overcomer and warrior woman that I’m blessed to know. He knows He needs warriors who will be boots on the ground to reach those who are desperate for Jesus.This - is part battle cry for the warriors, part testimony of how God took me from the battle on the home front walking out of the White House on 9/11 to standing as an overcoming, generational curse reversing, chain-breaking daughter of God and spiritual mama.     GRWM Episode #6: The Gen Z Draw Toward Jesus

    Right now, we are seeing many in Generation Z being drawn to Jesus. Whether it's music like Forrest Frank that does it or a Tik Tok influencer sharing Bible verses, they want to know more and we're here for it! My friend Alaina DeHart who is today's guest, is a student at Western Michigan University. We met through our church and her Mom who is a friend of mine through Griefshare. She and I have had many discussions about how to reach the next generation for Christ and today we finally get to talk about it on the podcast. So you may be watching this as a Gen Z in college. Or maybe you are out of college and trying to navigate adult life which is difficult. You are starting to get curious about God, but you aren't sure what to do with it. You just know you like some of this Christian music coming out or you are curious about the videos you see on Tik Tok about Sripture. Either way, I think you'll enjoy this. Maybe you are a woman who is older and you can't quite figure this generation out. You've been wondering how it is they might be drawing towards Jesus but you want to know more.     GRWM Episode #5: Walking Out God's Calling on your Life

    Earlier this summer, I got to sit down with my friend Megan Murphy Steen. She is currently serving at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya where God called her to medical mission work with her husband Jonathan, who is also a doctor. They are also parents to four children named Joseph, Timothy, Micah, and Cora who get to grow up in Africa! Megan specifically works as an OB/GYN there and is working to establish the first PAACS (Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons). So she’s also training other doctors.  Needless to say, she’s an amazing woman with a high calling and a huge servant heart. We always love to chat about life and leadership when she’s in town and when she reached out to get together for the few weeks she was here, I said, “Sure! But let’s do it on the podcast.”  So! There you have it. This woman inspires me to be a better leader. But I also love talking to her about what God’s call looks like in our lives and how we walk out that call and how it doesn’t always look like we “think” it should. She’s got some great stories about how God works in her life over there and we talk quite a bit about what it really means to have a calling from God.
