I only wish I had come across this podcast earlier -- like say 1968! So much wisdom I could have used growing up. Gil has become a regular companion, and I could not ask for a better guide. ❤️

I come to Imc teachers for guidance, refuge, perspective, to hear and learn how the dharma is applied to real, current, everyday life. I don’t hear these teachers speak about the violence present in the culture today. I long to hear the essential message of non-violence central to Buddhist understanding and practice. Please, speak clearly —with no excuses, no exclusions, no exceptions, no politics, no virtue signaling, no grandstanding, non convoluted or archaic terminology, please just plain, simple, universal teachings and practices of non-violence for everyone.

Nikki Mirghafori walks the walk. She has learned and practiced the dharma including during her own very challenging times.
