I strongly believe this podcast will help you to make best out of GHC. FYI, GHC is the biggest women in tech conference with 25000 attendees every year and more than 400 companies as sponsors.     Daphne attended GHC not just once but twice. She switched to the CS major in 2018 and walked into the conference hall feeling uncertain about her decision. After being immersed in the heightened energy of the room and meeting other women in her shoes, she built connections and grew confident.  At GHC 19, she had 11 #coffeechats with people she admired. She talked to an Google Developer Advocate to learn about how she can better teach #Android through blogs and workshops.  She also met other women from her school for the first time. She decided to take the sense of community back home and co-founded the #womenincs club at her university. More than 80 female CS students at UBC were able to meet one another without having to fly out to Florida!   She continued to push herself to reach out to people, create opportunities, and ended up completing 5 #software engineering #internships at #Lyft, #Yelp, #Shopify, and other companies.     Pragya attended GHC'19 while she was in sophomore year. In this epidose, Pragya tells networking and how it helped her to get into Deloitte as intern as well as her travel and yeah not forget about the after parties she attended which are only invite only events. In addition to this, she also met the founder of Nepali Women In computing if not GHC, it otherwise wouldn't happen.
