    Free Love: Alternative Relationship Styles, Open Relationships and Polyamory

    Welcome to a deeper look at our guest (and me). As promised you can find a few resources here. I've also provided the definitions I used in the beginning of this episode. Do your research, you never know what'll spark your interest.  Alternative Relationship- Any relationship outside of the monogamous normNon-monogamy- intimate relationship that does not strictly hew to the standards of monogamy, particularly that of having only one person with whom to exchange sex, love, and/or affection. In that sense, "nonmonogamy" may be accurately applied to extramarital sex, group marriage, or polyamory. It is not synonymous with infidelity, since all parties are consenting to the relationship structure   Consensual non-monogamy, and its subset ethical non-monogamy, are the practice of non-monogamous intimate or sexual relations that are distinguished from infidelity by the knowledge and consent of those involved, and from polygamy by the various partners not being in a single marriage. Forms of consensual non-monogamy include swinging, polyamory, open relationships, cuckquean fetishism and cuckolding fetishism.Open Relationship-  is an intimate relationship that is sexually non-monogamous. The term is distinct from polyamory, in that it generally indicates a relationship where there is a primary emotional and intimate relationship between two partners, who agree to at least the possibility of sexual or emotional intimacy with other people. Polyamorous- someone who engages in polyamory Polyamory-the practice of, or desire for, romantic relationships with more than one partner at the same time. Additionally, when we live pretending like our trauma doesn't effect us it eventually makes our lives hard (ending in a miserable life year after year).     It's My Birthday and I'll Cry If I Want To | 28 and Scared of the Unknown

    This is 28 *wide eyed stare for dramatic effect*! I'm welcoming all the feels and learning to identify feelings (lord knows I have no idea how I feel most of the time!).     Self Sabotage: Amber Heard, Embarrassment, and Accountability | Oh my!

    I really liked making this episode. I  enjoyed not trying to be perfect and just allowing myself space to be me. I also allowed seeing my sister getting a little more comfortable as well. It's crazy how much things can change once you just surrender to yourself. I'm learning to surrender to myself and life more. I hope you do too!
