Ep 66 - One Step Closer (feat. David "Trials-of-the-Apocalypse" Easley as Ditri)

Leviathan Hunters and Line Bulls risk their lives against the supernatural so that the rest of the Imperium never have to. Despite this great service, society at large would rather keep them both out of sight with Leviathan Hunters being out to see for a third of the year. Perhaps for this reason, the general public holds a romantic idea of a sailor's life while the ever present Line Bull will never be anything but picked on. But when tragedy takes one Hunter ship, it is a crew of Line Bulls who must pick the slack and prevent further catastrophe. Drix takes a pounding. Pip saves a life. Ditri leaves a surprise. Andrel actually warms up to a guest.

Ep 65 - Train Based Trauma (feat. David "Trials-of-the-Apocalypse" Easley)

Culture shock for roaming Line Bulls is not uncommon, as each locomotive can be run entirely differently than every other despite the existence of Imperial regulation and convention. But a certain Bull must serve on every train in the Railways fleet, and just when he thought he had the hang of it he is assigned to the Pride of Duskwall. Drix supports childhood development. Pip reminds one of science class. Ditri meets a sparkboy. Andrel freezes up and has a bad time.

Ep 64 - The Bashful Bull (feat. David Trials-of-the-Apocalypse)

Ep 64 - The Bashful Bull (feat. David Trials-of-the-Apocalypse)

The cities of the Imperium are cloaked in night at the best of times, and a darkened alleyway carries no special menace. But even Scoundrels dread to venture beneath the docks, close to the blackest Sea. It is here that the nervous Ditri must go to make ends meet. Later, Pippin puts Jean-Claude in his place. Drix lends a helping hand. Andrel spies someone weird.

SkredlitheOgre ,

This is an awesome show!

I’m (slowly, 26 episodes in) making my way through the back catalog of Ghosts on a Train (a roleplaying game written by John Harper) and I absolutely love it. It’s amazing that a four-page RPG can hold so much entertainment!

Hannah, Stefan, and Guy are amazing as their characters Andrel Anderson (badge name Dunvil), Adric AKA Drix (badge name Coleburn), and Pippin “Pip” McKeal (badge name McKeal). These three wacky kids have ALL THE ADVENTURES whether they’re protecting the train as Line Bulls or on the their down time, trying to relax.

There’s a ton of laughter and merriment, but also some hard-hitting emotional moments between characters as well. It’s hard not to tear up just a little bit.

Listen and enjoy!

GoaT is the GOAT

Ghosts on a train is so good. It’s absolutely a delight to hear these folks develop their world and story; it just keeps getting better and better. The narration and npcs from GM Greg are phenomenal. The character development and comedy from the three players are top notch. There are some of the best guest star concepts I’ve ever heard of. The show is dramatic, silly, heartwarming, genius, and has 100% drawn me in! Signed, your friendly gleewatch fan & unicyclist

I choo-choose this podcast

Ghosts on a Train is a really fun spin on the tabletop podcast. Rather than your typical DND fantasy setting it's based on a train, with ghosts! The party has great banter and some wonderful production values to boot!
