VP of Music Disney Channel STEVEN VINCENT
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0898764/
Every once in a while I meet someone in the business that is living the dream! To me that means their life’s work is also their passion … so in effect , they aren’t even working .. ha.
I think the best chance of this happening to you lies in the preparation phase of your career. What I mean is working on your education, empathy, people skills, as well as Elevating the technical skills needed for the job you want ….. and then add a big dose of luck.
Steven Vincent is the VP Music & Soundtracks at Disney Channel and he is in fact living the dream … he’s adapt at all of the things i just mentioned and being a music executive at Disney seems to be a magical fit.
Steve has been a guiding hand in the tv music careers of Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Jonas Bros, , Zac Efron & many others. -
Production Designer MARK SCRUTON
IMDB MARK SCRUTON Production Designer
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0998560/
Creating reality for Film and TV is like visualizing a new city, or an alternate future, or anything in between. Everything is amplified, modified, twisted, and colorized, and it takes a terrific team of really creative people to pull it off.
The head of that team is the Production Designer … the single person that under the direction of the director creates the entire environment of every shot in production.
Take a look at just 3 of Mark’s projects ‘Gravity’, ‘Ready Player One’, and ‘Wednesday’ and I think you might agree, Mark Scruton’s has a very imaginative mind.

Scoring Mixer Damon Tedesco
Scoring Engineer Damon Tedesco an amazing guy with skills, and lots of experience. You’ve heard his work on such films as the new Beauty and the Beast, Prey, Violent night, Godzilla and over 130 features.
When you watch a film do you ever think about where they record the music and how does it? Probably not. It’s nothing like going into the recording studio in Nashville !
Damon typically works at either the Warner, or Fox sound stages and he’s going to tell you all about what he does.

Composer / Keyboardist DAVE GROSS
Today my guest on GIG is Dave Gross, whom I've known for many years, going back to when he was the keyboardist in one of my favorite bands, the Malones.
Dave lives in Seattle, Washington, and for the past 20 years, has worked at Microsoft as a Composer AND as an Audio Post/Mix Engineer. He is the past president of the Pacific Northwest Recording Academy and most recently took a job as the Senior Music Editor and Mixer at the game company 'Bungie' in Seattle.
Beyond all the work-related stuff you'll hear today, Dave is an extraordinary human being whom I'm proud to know.
