Quit Letting Others Write Your Story, Rewrite Your Own Story! with Paul Forchione

Welcome to the 63rd episode of the Give a Heck Podcast! Join Dwight Heck and his guest, Paul Forchione, as they talk about how to quit letting others write your own stories. Paul is a mindset coach who helps his clients rewrite their stories and take control of their lives. He constantly asks the question, "how do I expect people to be vulnerable with me if I'm not vulnerable with them?" Paul believes it's important to have courage and take leaps of faith to gain confidence and learn how to open up yourself. Having those is also key to helping other people be brave when writing and sharing their own stories. In this episode, Paul speaks about how he didn't let other people write his story and how he turned his weaknesses and vulnerability into strength.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    · Setting up your goal and not letting your weaknesses define you

    · Being vulnerable and accepting will help you gain confidence

    · Honour your commitments!

    · Do not dwell on problems; continue moving forward, take a step, and do not look back!

    · Continue developing and doing other things until such time that you reach the level you aim for

    · And much more!

    ~

    About Paul Forchione:

Paul was born with cerebral palsy, and it was so severe that the doctors told his mom that he would never be able to walk. Thank goodness for a wonderful mom and a great mindset; he was able to overcome it and is now able to live a very active life. It wasn't easy, however, to get to that point.

Today as a Mindset Coach, Paul shares his story with his clients to help them rewrite their own stories to go after their true dreams and desires. Helping people rewrite their stories and take control of their lives. Improving their mindset, so they can seek out things that are positive in their lives as opposed to the negative.

Working with people to improve their self-esteem and eliminate limited belief. If you have belief in yourself, the sky is the limit to your potential. Paul and his group offer additional support on the Facebook group Rewrite Your Story. It's a space where people can share their life stories with no judgment, only support through the link www.facebook.com/groups/458141012065090/.

Welcome to the 62nd episode of the Give A Heck Podcast! Join Dwight Heck and his guest, Jeff Lavin, as they talk about the many lessons learned and imparted by a pro athlete, author, and entrepreneur. Jeff believes being true to oneself is by far the most important thing an individual must learn. During the talk, he states, 'some kid out there is going to do it because you're doing it.' Because of this, for Jeff, representation is not to be taken lightly. In this episode, Jeff explains how he came up with adventurepreneurship, why most people struggle with writing a book while others release multiple books a year, how one can become a free-range human, and what it takes to reach the top as an athlete and entrepreneur.

    · Origin of the word adventurepreneur

    · Enjoy the highs but don't feel too high for humility

    · How to write books like a serial author?

    · What are free-range humans?

    · You have to leverage other peoples' genius

    · And much more!

    ~

    About Jeff Lavin:

Jeff "The Shredneck" Lavin, snowboarder, surfer, best-selling author with my book Get Awesome Above and Beyond: Where Passions Meet Purpose, inspirational speaker and brand founder…..but most importantly, also an Adventurepreneur creating more free-range humans. Helping people find their true north, charting a navigational direction (systems), recruiting, and hiring a crew (processes).

Jeff's team on getting Awesome has some pretty cool things going on that they're stoked to share. From Influencer Academy, where they share their big three mindsets, systems, and processes. To their amazing Adventurepreneur retreats which are opposite of another mastermind conference where people sit on their butt. Jeff pushes the limits and does things that make your butthole pucker achieve the flow state.
