We’re talking health scares, A&E chaos, the absolute state of the Irish healthcare system, and why it feels like you need to be rich to not suffer.     It’s just Robyn and Jess this week, bringing it back to the two of us doing what we do best! Jess has low vitamin D and calcium, despite eating an impressive amount of cheese. Turns out the Irish weather is killing us all with the lack of vitamin D.. We talk about the reality of “having a village” and why it only works if you’re willing to be a villager too, the absolute comedians that live in the TikTok comment sections, Olympic speed skating and the bums that come with it. Then Robyn drops lore with gift giving and bug chasing that had Jess shook! Half through the episode things get more serious. Jess opens up about living with intense health anxiety, constant catastrophising, and OCD traits that make everyday thoughts spiral into worst-case scenarios. Robyn gently challenges her on it and suggests something Jess has been avoiding, actually facing it and talking to a therapist instead of just pushing through. Funny, chaotic, and unexpectedly honest , this episode goes from messing and laughs to a very real conversation about anxiety and mental health. Basically: cheese, STIs , and a potential therapy breakthrough.
