    161. An Inside Look At What It's Like Living With Borderline Personality Disorder [with NJ Rodman]

You’ve likely heard of bipolar disorder, split personalities and more- but have you ever heard of Borderline Personality Disorder before? Well, in today’s Friday’s with Friends episode, you’re going to! In this episode I am joined by our refreshing guest, NJ, who takes us through the deep implications of what exactly this diagnosis is- and how it has radically altered her life. Together we dive into the childhood trauma she experienced before her diagnosis, the deep way in which she experiences emotion, what it’s like moving through life without an ‘identity’, and how in the last year and a half, she’s had to completely uproot her life and start again. In this vulnerable share, she talks about the moments that nearly broke her, the days when she feels like quitting, what’s keeping her going even in the darkest hours- and how she’s doing it ALL as a single mother. This episode is deep, raw, and extremely informative- and I’m sure it’ll answer every single question that you have (including the ones you didn’t even think to ask!). Let’s dive in, shall we? _____________________ Here’s A Little About NJ + Her Journey:NJ Rodman is a romance author based out of Sherwood Park. 159. How To Hold More When You're At Capacity [with Rachele Kehler]

Have you ever found yourself mentally or emotionally ‘maxed out’, while also wondering how you can somehow work harder to hold more? If so, then you’re not alone- and that place? It can be an incredibly confusing one to be at! In today’s Friday’s with Friends feature, I am joined by Rachele Kehler- a women’s alignment coach who is helping to redefine what ‘holding more’ actually means, so that you can skip the burnout and go straight to the part that feels good. In this episode we’re discussing some pivotal parts of navigating life as a woman- and how to tell the difference between the moments when you need to take a break and remove things from your plate, vs when it’s time to lean in and go full throttle. Together we explore knowing when to say yes, the difference between trends vs intuitive choice, the ways that childhood wounds can either place us in victim mode or make us hyper independent- and most importantly, how to start placing yourself at the center of your own life. If you’ve felt maxed out or burnt out in your life lately and are ready to shake it for good- then this is the episode for you. 156. Stop Giving A Shit About What People Think Of You

There used to be a time, not so long ago, when I would be terrified to open my phone and see my notifications, out of fear for what someone might have commented on my social media pages. Three years ago, in the height of the 'cancel culture' attempt of me online, I went through my worst fear- receiving hundreds of messages from people telling me what a terrible person I was. At the time, I desperately wanted to be liked, I feared negative opinions of me, and I cried at every hate-comment. I knew that my belief system needed to be rewired, and in a strange way, I also knew that this moment in time would greatly serve me in the long run. And boy was I right! Since then, I've completely rewritten this fear for myself and amazingly enough, I no longer fear negative comments or judgement. The truth is that I actually love it! I believe that true freedom lies in the discovery that no one's opinion of you matters but your own- and today we're going to talk about how to finally release the fear of that judgement for good. So let's dive in, shall we? __________________________ GO REGULATE YOURSELF LIVE September 25th | Edmonton, AB More Info + Tickets Here __________________________ EXTRAS + SOCIALS * JOIN THE MEMBERSHIP HERE * Enjoyed this episode + want to send some love? SEE HERE For more about Brianne, her work and content SEE HERE   Connect on Instagram: Brianne Roberge Go Regulate Yourself Connect on Facebook: Brianne Roberge Go Regulate Yourself

    155. A Woman In A Man's World [with Sarah Poirier]

You've likely heard before that a childhood lacking something leads to an adulthood of seeking that thing- but did you know that this can also apply to masculine energy? In today's Friday's with Friends episode, our guest Sarah is walking us through this exact concept and how after years of having no safety in the masculine, she tried to create it herself. Together we explore what this overdrive mentality drove her to do- including coping with alcohol and drugs, choosing a male-dominated career in the trades that she hated, and ending up in relationships with people that weren't exactly healthy. She shares with us her journey to finding herself, distancing herself from people and environments that weren't supportive to her healing, leaving her career and stumbling into her passion, and creating a life that she is actually proud of. This episode is packed with little wisdom nuggets and was so much fun to record. If you're a woman who's struggled with finding balance in her life- then guaranteed you'll love it. So let’s dive in, shall we? _____________________ Here’s A Little About Sarah + Her Journey:Sarah is a somatic facilitator who helps women stop choosing emotionally unavailable men by healing the deep unconscious patterns that keep them stuck looping in the same relationship cycles. Rather than focusing on mindset alone, she guides women through deep nervous system and identity-level transformation so they naturally lose their attraction to unhealthy dynamics and start magnetizing relationships that are safe, reciprocal, and secure. Her work helps women become the kind of woman who knows her worth, trusts herself completely, and settles for nothing less than the love she truly desires.
