This week on Go & Do, Candis Shupe dives into the book of Psalms a collection of 150 ancient songs and prayers filled with joy, gratitude, fear, anger, sadness, hope, and praise. Turns out, people have been using music to work through their feelings and connect with God for a very long time. In this episode, you’ll learn: 🎵 Why the Psalms remind us that faith doesn’t require hiding what we really feel and that God wants us to bring our real thoughts and struggles to Him 🙏 How music can become a powerful form of prayer, and why the Lord tells us that “the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me” (D&C 25:12) ❤️ How the songs we surround ourselves with can invite the Spirit, strengthen our trust in Christ, and even connect us to people and sacred moments we love 📖 What Psalms like Psalm 8, Psalm 20, Psalm 23, Psalm 24, and Psalm 40 teach about trusting God, remembering who we are, and praising Him through every part of life So this week, create the soundtrack of your life. Why Do You Stay?

We want to hear from you! Send us some Fan mail! When life gets hard, what keeps you believing? And when you have questions about faith, why do you stay? This week on Go & Do, Candis Shupe dives into the story of Job, a man who seemingly had everything, lost nearly everything, and still declared, “Yet will I trust Him.” In this episode, you’ll learn:  💔 What Job’s devastating losses teach us about trials, grief, and the different ways people respond to difficult experiences  🙏 Why mortality was always meant to include opportunities to be tested and why our current circumstances are only one part of our eternal story  ❓ How separating primary questions from secondary questions can help us navigate doubts, disagreements, and unanswered questions without losing sight of what we already know Job didn’t have every answer. He didn’t understand why everything was happening to him. But underneath all the questions were the truths that mattered most: Is there a God? Is there a Savior? And can He save me? So this week, Candis invites you to wrestle with your own primary questions and discover your own answers. Go & Do Challenge Identify the answers to these primary questions for yourselfIdentify other primary questions you might have and their responseIf you like what you hear don't forget to follow and leave us a review! Do You Remember That Verse?

We want to hear from you! Send us some Fan mail! This week on Go & Do, Candis Shupe walks through the final chapters of 2 Kings as Jerusalem falls, the children of Israel are scattered, and the warnings of the prophets are fulfilled. But amid the tragedy, one righteous king reminds us of the incredible power found in God's word. In this episode, you’ll learn:  📜 How the destruction of Jerusalem connects directly to Lehi and Nephi's story in the Book of Mormon  👑 Why King Josiah's discovery of the Book of the Law sparked a national spiritual revival  💡 How finding your own "power verse" can strengthen your faith and help you walk with Christ every day Josiah didn't just read the scriptures. He let them change him. He gathered the people, renewed his covenant with God, and committed to follow the Lord with all his heart. The invitation is the same for us. Are we studying the words of ancient and living prophets? Are we acting on what we've already been taught? And do we have a scripture that has become part of who we are? Because God's word doesn't just tell us about the past. It prepares us for the future. ✨ Go & Do Challenge Study the words of living prophets, aka the May Liahona, to know what God is preparing us for and expecting us to doStudy the word of ancient prophets – find out power verseShare your power verse with us!!
