going mental is AMAZING

this podcast is very meaningful to me. i would love to have more episodes like the first with eileen’s personal mental health experience, especially in a setting like mclean. i loved hearing her speak about what she went through and would love to know more about the things you learned and how that’s helped you after.

also loved the ones with dr. joseph parks and madison beer and her mental health experience!

eileen is awesome and i’m so excited for more from her and going mental 💌♥️💭

It’s okay

Eileen seems thoughtful enough but I do find it uncomfortable that she glosses over her family’s immense wealth and acts like she doesn’t have major connections through her money. Like she built it herself. She comes off as very out of touch and like a glitzy and glamorous person to watch which is fun to watch ngl! Also she reacted so arrogantly when people called her out on her beliefs that tr*mp shouldn’t be banned from Twitter bc she has no concept of how regular people are affected by the rich and powerful bc she is one of them. It’s not like she is tavi gevinson tbh. Idk she’s magnetic bc she’s beautiful and friends with these cool people and rich but I don’t see her contributions to the conversation as interesting or deep. She has a good platform and is able to get interesting guests. Everyone deserves a shot at what they wanna do but this is just my POV of the host and her online persona.

** the last episode where she and her producer were talking about how rich people can be depressed too gave such white lotus vibes. Lol…Obviously rich people are miserable and depressed it’s about access and resources, Eileen. The out of touch element to her and her rich friends is fun to watch on Instagram but to listen to them talk about issues can be grating. She couldn’t even see how housing was a major issue in homelessness…. Until that doctor corrected her. Idk it’s very surface level thus far. Interesting to get to know a little bit more about Eileen since I followed her on Instagram for a little.
