Ep2 - The Warm Up
Thanks for joining me on today’s show. On this episode, I am joined by a thriving young therapist, Brooks Tryon, DPT, OCS, to discuss the importance of a warm up before golf. You can follow Brooks on Instagram @b_tryon91. We discuss dynamic warm ups, why it is beneficial to performance, and what sort of exercises/stretches you can do before you play to give yourself the best performance boost. I will be posting some warm up examples on my Twitter page @JoeEstesPT over the next week or two so give me a follow to check out those free ideas. Please also check out Episode 1, if you haven’t listened yet, to learn a little about my background and the vision of the Golf Rx Podcast. Thanks again for listening and supporting and hope to see you Back On Course! 🤙🏻⛳️🏌🏻♂️🏌🏼♀️. Logo by @alfyyyg; Beats by EQ Quality; Brooks Tryon on IG @b_tryon91

Joe is the GOAT!
Can’t say enough good things about this podcast and Joe the host! As a 3-time shoulder surgery vet, washed up college golfer, and former patient of Joe’s, I am so grateful to have had the best PT in the Chicagoland area get me back to my game! Definitely worth a listen for any golfer!

Can’t wait for the next podcast!
Having had two spine surgeries, I can relate to the struggles and insecurities of trying to return to golf. Wondering if that first swing is going to undo everything that was repaired, or just be so painful that you feel you’ll never be able to play a sport you love so much ever again. Joe’s expertise was essential to my recovery and I am so excited to listen to the upcoming podcasts!
