AMAZING TALENT!!!!!!!

I am so happy Kevin is making a podcast. I was born and live in the U.S., so like a lot of really super Australian artists, you really have to go digging to find their music in stores. Fortunately, with the web, and sites like YouTube and Amazon, it is made easier. I loved Bob Evans' work since "Don't You Think It's Time," but I think my very favorite song is "Hand Me Downs." Although, the song is not ostensiblty sad, it always makes me cry or get choked up for some reason. Maybe because I miss Australia so much. I spent a good six months there, and presently study Australian literature at uni. I really try to immerse myself in as much of the culture (music, film, books) as possible. In the U.S., Bob Evans is a country restaurant, most notable for their breakfast food. So, when I say I love Bob Evans, I have to explain, no not the restaurant, the singer! I am really looking forward to more episodes. Off to an awesome start. I think if you like Bob Evans as much as me, check out Jebediah too. There is something very down to earth, folksy, and just plain relateable in all his music. If I could offer one piece of advice, being from Western Australia, as I know Kevin is, perhaps future collaboration with some Indigenous musicians would really highlight a part of music that seems to be absent at the moment. Just a thought. Please check out his music on iTunes, Amazon, YouTube, or visit your local record stores. You won't be disappointed.
