Good is good in the final hour, in the deepest pit without hope, without witness, without reward. Virtue is only virtue in extremis. This is what he believes, and this is the reason above all, I love him. My husband. My madman in a box. My Doctor.”

Insightful and Worthwhile

I am struck each time I listen to this podcast by Father Jeremy’s ability to help me understand my spiritual being and the importance of faith. The need to reflect honestly, and accept my humanity and inability to control or comprehend the full truth of the gift of life brings me back each week to acknowledge with humility what it means to have been given this gift of borrowed time. I understand gratitude better.
