CALGARY SURGE ANNOUNCE TREC DENTAL AS OFFICIAL DENTAL GROUP
MAY 7 – The Calgary Surge are proud to announce TREC Dental as the club’s Official
Dental Group for the 2024 season, the team announced Tuesday.
“Our partnership with TREC Dental Group will not only ensure our players receive
industry-leading oral health care, but that our organization can activate at scale across
TREC’s 18 clinics, said Surge Vice-Chairman and President, Jason Ribeiro. “Dr. Jan
Jaffer and the entire TREC Dental Group have built an incredible culture rooted in
strong values and we are excited to work with them and reinforce the Surge’s focus on
community health.”
This partnership adds to the Surge’s cadre of health and wellness partnerships that
already includes medical diagnostics, sports medicine, nutrition, and health benefits.
TREC Dental is a group of socially conscious doctors that believe in giving back to the

Calgary, The Alex, The World Partnership Walk, and many more. They also work
around the world providing dentistry to those who don’t have access to oral health care.
“We are so thrilled to be partnering with the Calgary Surge for the upcoming season,”
said Chief Executive Officer of TREC Dental, Dr. Jan Jaffer. “Not only is there a strong
alignment in both organization’s core values, but this partnership reinforces TREC’s
commitment to giving back to the community.”
Surge players will use TREC Dental exclusively for any oral health care services they
require during the season. TREC Dental Foundation will also provide a $10,000
charitable donation to be directed to one or more of Kids Up Front Calgary’s 150+
partner agencies through the club’s Surge ASSIST program. Surge ASSIST is a
movement to send thousands of deserving Calgary kids and families to Surge games
through a nation-leading partnership with Kids Up Front Calgary.

Bringing Smiles Across Borders - Our Annual Volunteer Trip to Guatemala
We are excited to share the heartwarming and impactful efforts of our team as they embark on their annual volunteer trip to Guatemala. With a passion for bringing oral health care to those in need, our dedicated team is once again heading to Guatemala to provide much-needed dental care to underserved communities.
During this yearly volunteer trip, our team sets up mobile clinics in remote areas, reaching out to individuals who may not have access to regular dental care. Through this initiative, our team is able to offer oral healthcare and education to patients of all ages.
We are grateful for the generous support of our community and various sponsors, whose contributions make this endeavor possible. It is through their support that our team can continue its mission to provide quality oral health care to those in need. -
