    This week, we couldn’t stay silent. What’s happening in Chicago right now — the ICE raids, the fear, the tension — has left us deeply disturbed. Under the false promise of “cleaning up” neighborhoods and making communities safer, families are being torn apart, and men, women, and children are too afraid to even step outside their homes.In this episode, we talk about what’s really going on — not from a distance, but from the perspective of people who live there, who see it, and who feel it. Payton and several of our friends are witnessing this firsthand, and it’s impossible to ignore the pain, confusion, and injustice that’s unfolding.Even if the end goal were safety, this is not the way to achieve it.
