43. Stereotypes: Absent Black Fathers
Are Black fathers missing? Are they absent?
Nope. Not at all. Or at least, not anymore than any other group of people.
In this week's episode, we talk about the stereotype that Black fathers are missing or absent from their kids lives. Here are some things we discuss:
Where the stereotype comes from
Why it's not true
Why it's still being perpetuated
How we can help change the narrative
We also discussed Black congressman and activist, John Lewis, as our Black History Month highlight!

Love this Groves Family
I love learning about this topic and the importance of anti-racism in our country and world. Keep doing what you guys are doing!!!!
Grace and Race
Thank you for taking time to produce this podcast. It’s been so helpful for me as I try to listen more and see how to love my neighbor as Jesus would have me do.
Racial education, gracefully delivered
This is such an important podcast. You can get educated about anti racism in many places these days, but it’s rare to find that information so beautifully bound with the love of Jesus. No matter how important the message, people won’t hear it unless they know it comes from a place of love. Grace and Race checks all of those boxes.
