What Makes Me Right with God?

What Makes Me Right with God?

Today on the Grace at LAST podcast we look at church attendance and ask if God is more pleased when I participate? Are the messages that are coming from the pulpit centered around the new covenant, which is the blood of Jesus, or is it more about fear to try and stir up obedience from the people? Is manipulation going out in an effort for pastors and entrepreneurs to build an empire and how can I train myself to discern good from evil? What really makes me right with God and how can I understand that more so I can believe it and live considering the new covenant? How can I be confident that Jesus was the final sacrifice, and I don’t need to ask for forgiveness? These are some of the topics discussed on today’s Grace at LAST podcast and we are so glad you joined us.

    Why the Resurrection?

    Why the Resurrection?

Today on our Grace at LAST podcast we talk about depression and the answer. Knowing about joy and peace is very different than experiencing it in our life. I know the promises of God are good, but how do I get there? What single truth can I learn that could change my entire life and how can I avoid allowing the enemy to steal, kill and destroy the abundant life Jesus came to give me? We also talked about other truths surrounding the resurrection of the Christ and what it really means when we celebrate Good Friday and Easter. Forgiveness is only half of the gospel, and we discuss the other half, the half of the story that makes us alive. These topics and more on today’s Grace at LAST podcast. Thanks for joining in.

    Where Do I Start?

    Where Do I Start?

Today we looked our starting place and when the new covenant begins.  Does Jesus tell us to follow all His commandments, or does He say the new covenant began when He died? What is our inheritance and how can I know that I can start spending it today? We explore the necessity for forgiveness to be possible and how we go about receiving it from the Lord when we mess up. We also look at prayers that make sense, so we don’t waste our time asking for things we already have.  How does God feel about my sin and how can I get in agreement with Him? These topics and more on today’s Grace at LAST podcast. We are so glad you joined today us.

    Must I Decrease?

    Must I Decrease?

On today’s Grace at LAST podcast, we looked at how God feels about us living to the fullest. Does God desire for me to decrease so there is more of Jesus and less of me? I believe God created us all unique and special and we can embrace who we are and who others are also. Acceptance is so important if we are going to experience the rest that Jesus is offering us to enjoy.  As we continue to realize how much God really loves us and is pleased with us, the more we will grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Thank you for joining us today.

Do I Need to Grow Up?

Do I Need to Grow Up?

Today on our Grace at LAST podcast we ask some questions about where the control is coming from in our lives.  Are we careful to listen and follow the Holy Spirit inside of us, or are we still being controlled by other people? When it comes to our relationship with God, we are free to hear and follow the voice of the Holy Spirit saying this is the way, walk in it.  We are reminded we are the church; it is not a place we go. When we remember that, we can look for opportunities in our lives to be the church and share the incredibly good news in Christ.  Complete and total forgiveness is available in Christ and there is nothing we need to do to add to it. It is freedom in every area. We also talk about the author of Hebrews rebuking his readers for being infants. They were still hanging on to the Law of Moses and needed to let go of that and move into the gospel of grace.  They couldn’t teach others because they were still in need of someone to teach them. The material we look at in today’s podcast is an effort to remedy that and help us grow up to the new covenant truths so we can not only live them but share them with others. We are so glad you joined us today.

    How Am I Changed?

    How Am I Changed?

Today on our Grace at LAST podcast we look at how we are changed and acceptable to God. Is God more pleased with us when we give money, go to church, read our Bibles, and do other religious things? Do I go to church because I think it is required of me as a Christian, or am I free to be led by the Holy Spirit and do what He puts on my heart? Will other’s judge me if I don’t participate in these things and am I allowing other people to control me based on their beliefs, even though I may be forsaking mine?  Will I forfeit blessings from God if I don’t serve and give to the kingdom? These topics and more on today’s Grace at LAST podcast.

Podcast.Mike ,

Excellent podcast

I’m really enjoying your show Corinne. Your sharing some good points on James. That must have been what life was like coming out of the Old Covenant while still holding on to the law of Moses and thinking you were still obligated to keeping it. What a mess that caused. I sure view James differently than I did even a year ago. Keep talking up the good news!
