    Navigating Grieve and Loss

    Send us a text At one point or another we will all experience some sort of loss in our lives, leading us down a path of grieving or at the very least confronting the undeniable reality of the loss. Grieving is not a one-size-fits all kind of process, meaning that not everyone will grieve in the same way, take the same time or that it is a linear path. There can be an assortment of emotions, behaviors, thought patterns, and mindset shifts while going through grief. It changes our life forever and completely rocks our world. We are with you if you are currently experiencing any kind of loss and grieving. Everyone’s experience is unique and ever-changing, but we know that our God NEVER changes and He never fails us. I know we both have been there and it's easy to talk ourselves in or out of hearing from our Creator. Sometimes we lack the faith to believe He is speaking, or sometimes we may be getting in the way of actually hearing His voice due to all the external noice and voices that surround us. It's vital in our walk with God to not just learn His character through the scriptures but to also spend intentional 1 on 1 time with Him in prayer.     “Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything” | How to have peace in the storm

    Send us a text Ever been so desperate for peace? Just wanted your mind to stop racing and worrying about everything. Well God tells us in the verse we discuss in this episode exactly how to deal with this. In fact, you can see it sort of like a formula or math equation and it makes perfect sense. When we put this into practice this in our day to day lives, we can see anxiety and worry leave our minds and bodies and we can welcome a divine peace that surpasses all understanding. Peace that makes no sense!  “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.     Fix Your Thoughts | How To Turn Any Bad Day Around

    Send us a text We've all been there. Inevitably, bad things happen sometimes, things within or outside of our control unfold right before us. Sometimes it can be one situation that happens that can cause lingering feelings to keep you from truly enjoying the rest of the day, while other times it can be a series of events that stack one on top of another, weighing you down and leaving you with this feeling of overwhelm and frustration.  You might even start counting down the hours until the day ends and you can welcome a new, better one ahead. Or maybe what I'm describing is more than just one singular day but it is the soundtrack of your life lately in this season. And you sometimes catch yourself wishing parts of it away.  Times like this show us that when we fix our thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable like it says in Philippians 4:8, we can truly turn our day around. God helps us in the midst of our trials and tells us to think differently. While this may not necessarily always change our situation and the parts of it that are outside of our control, it can surely change our perspective and give us strength to power through anything.  We can combat lies from the enemy by fixing our thoughts on what is true. We can banish our anxiety by fixing our thoughts on what is lovely and admirable. We shared in this episode how to do this in a practical way and shared some personal stories where we have experienced this first hand in our lives.
