    That One Time I Almost Got Arrested

    Every time I think about this story it makes me laugh. It’s not even the type of story I can type out to give you a lil preview. You just gotta listen to for yourself. But I can set the scene a bit.. This incident happened during my first year a a high school cheerleading coach. Being a coach and mentor to teenage girl was one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. It was so fun to talk with the girls about high school drama, relationships, college and really anything else they wanted to talk about. I truly loved coaching cheerleading which is evident by the story you’re going to listen to. My biggest takeaway from being a coach is leadership matters. What you say, how you say it and the values you live by are very important when you step into any leadership role.     That One Time Grace Saved Me

    Ya’ll, this podcast has been yearssssss in the making. I had the idea to start a podcast back in 2015. I signed up for Anchor, made the graphic, and even interviewed four guests for the show. But then fear got the best of me, and I never executed on my plan. When I got the desire to start a podcast again, it was hard to push through on the idea. I waited and prayed and cried and even tried to convince myself starting a podcast was a bad idea. Then Coronavirus came on the scene.  One the pandemic hit, my anxiety was through the roof! I was like God this virus is ghetto, please help me get through this because I don’t know what to do. After many prayers, God led me to start hosting a weekly Bible study with a group of friends. I had NO IDEA how this Bible study would change my life. I’m so proud of the women who continue to show up every week to grow in God’s Word and engage in the honest (and always entertaining) conversation. This group of women inspired me to speak again and share how God’s grace has shaped my life. And from those conversations, the GraceMade podcast was born.
